There has probably been more people not receiving any correspondence than those that received it without issue. I wonder if we should start tabulating in the spreadsheet those with the issue and those without and send that out to the CIC.

aor 1
Aor 2 sponsor may 3
OWP approved May 23rd

Pretty relieved to have the OWP approval as his visa expires aug 30th

Sponsorship still says in process when I use online tool. I assumed I would have had that approval before owp but I guess not. Can sponsorship application be linked to mycic? From what I can see on website no.

Same package but separate envelope, each envelope labelled.

Yes it is A0R number 1. Are you inland or outland?

If you are inland then the next step would be the request for schedule A form and Police certificate so that they can conduct the back ground check.

Sometimes A OR2 (Sponsor Approval) can come early and sometimes it can come late. I am still waiting on my AOR 2. I received A OR 1 since March 29, 2017.

We put ours in the same envelope, the PR application gathered together with one large paper clip and the OWP with another large paper clip. So just two distinct stacks of paper within the same envelope.

OWP was approved within 3 weeks of AOR. Physical OWP received a week after approval was shown on myCIC. .

What documents did you send with the owp? Another copy of passport, current status and marriage certificate?

There seems to be a drastic slowdown on how quickly AOR's have been sent out. Same with OWP's. I wonder if it had anything to do with the Parental and Grandparent's Visa lottery that was finished first week of May.

So far it has been 2 weeks since we sent everything for PCC and Sch A. Not a peep yet from IRCC. We will call on Friday to see if they received our files from either the CSE we sent or the hardcopies by mail.

I send my PCC and Schedule A ( April 10) via Webform and received an email May 19
"We are pleased to confirm the reception of the IMM 5669 form and police certificate. We have forwarded them to the responsible office for their consideration.
If further information is needed during the processing of your application, the responsible office may contact you.

Hi Everyone!!!

So i have finally received my police certificates and done Schedule A and ready to upload it via the webform..

However before i upload all of them i want to make sure on something in regards to Schedule A for those who have done it and have passed this stage.

So in the personal history section i have a bunch of dates and places i have worked and when i was not working i put that i was travelling... Ive never missed a date and all the dates string together. Can someone please let me know if this is all i need. I'm super worried cause ive seen a bunch of people saying that their Schedule A was sent back bla bla bla....

Hi again!

I have another question... So i have until the 8th of June to submit my Schedule A and Police Checks....

If i upload them via Webform before that date am i ok???? .... I've seen on this thread that it can take up to a few weeks for them to respond that they have received them. I just don't want the 8th of June to come along and they think that i haven't uploaded anything, when i have already... just takes them a while to see it.
I'm assuming they see the date when i uploaded the documents and everything is fine and dandy can someone please help me destress over this hahaha

Hi Folks,

how long does it take for them to start processing background check?
I uploaded it 11 days ago and the background check status hasn't changed ,still shows not applicable on my CIC
But on additional documents it shows document requested has been uploaded
is this normal? or does it take longer than this to start processing

Hi Emily yes once you upload it before June 8 then you are fine. I had lots of issues dealing with that back in March, 2 months ago so I mailed it to them and they had no issues receiving it. It was attached to my file right away.

And you are right they can take a very long time to respond in web form that's why I decided to mail it instead but you can do whatever you feel is best for you.

Within one week of them getting my Schedule A, my background check started.

Hi Liz. My background check started one week after they received my required documents. I sent it by mail.

If your status shows it has been uploaded then you should be fine. You just need to wait for them to have it started. It all depends for different ppl. Some ppl get started right away. Some don't. Also depends on how busy that person is, whoever is working on your file.
