Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

I was able to link my PR application to myCIC account. Do we have to link the OWP application also? If yes, how? I try doing it, selecting temporary residence, open work permit......I entered the application number, the same what I got for my PR application, and it gives me an error, application number wrong! If I use UCI and family name option, it gives me an error, no application found! So I wonder if we have to link the OWP application to the online CIC account?

Yes, it takes a longer time to link. And it is only when the OWP application has been uploaded ,U can find your application on CIC I am guessing yours hasnt been uploaded yet. You either use UCI and family name or the Family name and Date of birth works best. Mine took about 20days before I could link , so keep trying

Hey guys, I'm sharing my timeline.

Application received: March 14, 2017
AOR: Mar 23,2017
PC request and Schedule A: March 30, 2017
Medical request: April 11, 2017

I haven't heard any new updates since I submitted my medical exam. So, how long will it take to hear for the next step? Does anyone know it? Thank you very much.

You probably should call, there is a high chance that your application has been returned.

Any info or tips to proceed are highly appreciated.

I got married to my girlfriend in December 2016 and thanks to the Ontario Govt. we received our marriage certificate couple of days ago. Our package is almost complete except for Birth Certificates.

She and I dated for long time but didnt get married coz her mom and I don't go along at all-- talk about bollywood storylines. Anyways, after futile attempts of convincing her we went ahead with the wedding anyways. My parents did approve and were present for the wedding.

So, I guess you get the gist here. There's no way I can get her mom's birth certificate. And, she lost her dad at a very early age. I was wondering I could explain this situation in a cover letter but thought there might be more/other options that can support my case.

Any tips?

You should call to be sure it's not returned however , some do receive it even up to a month and a half after

coz it states

You (the applicant) must provide the following (photocopies only) for yourself and your family members.

Birth Certificates for yourself and your family members, whether they are accompanying to Canada or not.

Thats only if your mother is coming to canada with you as part of the sponsorship

Is your mother coming also? Doubt it so that wouldn't be needed. only your dependents if any.

Hi, My OWP status changed to approved on my CIC. how long does it take to get it in the mail?and what next after SIN? How do I go about getting the SIN?

Could you please let us know, the address when you will get the OWP mail. I just want to know, Is it coming from Alberta or Toronto.
