I applied for PR in August 2017. I have a open work permit on IEC until middle of February. But got told last week by a agent that I will have implied status to remain in Canada but not to work. Apparently u can't have applied status and work with IEC.

I don't know much about this IEC program, but one thing I know for sure; application for PR does NOT give you status in canada.
If you have submitted an OPW application with your PR application, this will give you the implied status until a decision is made on your OWP application.
Anyway, right now you're not implied at all, since your permit still valid.

So.... We finally got asked for a medical. April 2017 AOR. After we sent in SchA back in June 2017, we heard nothing. I guess they are either batching these requests or we are really close! Trying to stay positive.

I'm getting nervous here. My application was received on Dec 5. Still have not received AOR. They also did not send it back to me. I read that Dec 9 and Dec 11 applicants are already receiving AOR.....

Hello! Im having difficulty in linking my account so I stumbled on this website to figure it out.
I followed your instructions in linking my account but still can't find my online application. I have entered also my place of birth simce it won't proceed if i dont enter my details. I has been a week on trying and seem so frustrating

For me, it would only let me leave the city of birth blank on my laptop. I tried from my iPad and it wouldn’t let me leave that field blank. Good Luck

Yes that is correct. I still have valid visa and been told when it expires I'm on implied status.

October 26th applicant here and haven't heard anything yet. I linked mine back in December when I got my AOR. I've been keeping a close eye on my account though, hoping we get the email soon!!!

So many people from the same day as me or even before got it approved already
I'm freaking out.

No further communication and we have been unable to link OWP. Any tips?

That is very strange that you haven't heard anything about your OWP yet... I would definitely give them a call to see what's going on - there must be some problem as if all was in order then you would have had OWP approval by now, well and truly. It may be that you were out of status, so you may have to wait until AIP (Approval in Prinicipal) before you get your OWP, which is near the end of the process....

My OWP was received on Nov 22 after being resubmitted and I was just able to link mine on Jan 22... strange that you haven't been able to link yours yet :/ Have you contacted IRCC yet? I know there have been many in the same boat and one day they receive their OWP approved in the mail or they get an email of approval.

I HAVE you try linking it ? just try use surname and birthdate option .. i did be able to link mine before my Aor arrived..

some of the late march applicants have just started getting their med requests. so, chances are you'll get yours shortly.
