Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

Hi Guys,
My application got received by CIC on December 11th we got AOR on January 25. Mail was sent to my husband who is sponsor. we also linked our application to online.

AOR - April 10 2017
Med completed - July 2017
Category - common law inland

I have not heard anything back from CIC since passing my medical exam and my background check is still in process.
Review of eligibility - not started yet.
Also, my sponsor has not received any SA yet? On his ECAS, the status is still in process.

Is it not normal at all? Please help!

Hello all!

One quick question. My wife has a visitor visa valid until 2020 and she recently got her Work Permit. Can she leave the country and get back with the visitor visa and work permit or does she needs to apply for a work visa (so the sticker on the passport says work visa instead of visitor visa)??

Same here. My wife and I want to go to US for a short vacation. Don't know if the custom going to let us to re-entry Canada.

If she has work permit and visitor visa she wouldn't need anything else.

I’m March 2nd applicant ; I think it’s totally normal since few JAN/FEB apps from 2017 start getting DM ; jus be patient and focus on other tings , we all waiting the good news N I believe it’s will eventually come

So.... We finally got asked for a medical. April 2017 AOR. After we sent in SchA back in June 2017, we heard nothing. I guess they are either batching these requests or we are really close! Trying to stay positive.

HOW TO LINK PR APPLICATION TO MYCIC:

for the number of family members, place two (2) for sponsor and principal applicant. IF you have non-accompanying dependents, do not add them to the app. IF you have accompanying dependents, for example, you have one (1) child who is not a pr or canadian citizen who will be receiving PR the same time as you, add him/her to the app. so in this example you type in 3. @ggl hope this works for you! if not, try to use uci number or other combinations. or try to fill single as marital status (i don't know why but it worked for some). if you still can't link, please post here so we can all figure it out.

Update;
I was having hard time to link my application to my account. I FINALLY able to link it other day after contacting with IRCC webform or report the technical issue. It turned out that my first name isnt in system. whaaat? I even checked my copy of my application, correct names and everything but somehow the agent enter my name incorrectly.. All I had to do was last name only and UCI(or it was an application #) and LINKED!

On the other hand, I thought they rec'd my OWP application on Sept 11th, it turned out its Nov 9th; I always get the dates confused because its 9/11/2017. Therefore, I should get my OWP soon!!! Now, whats the latest date OWP is being approved?
