Okay so I'm trying to validate my scedule a form. I've filled everything out correctly but it wont let me validate as it says there are errors.
It flags the year of when I started living at my current address as an error (when its correct) and I cant figure out a way to fix it.
It also flags within personal history- I clicking ongoing for my Working holiday visa as it doesnt run out until 15th december but the forms doesnt like the ongoing part and wants an end date.

can anybody help?
Make sure you list every address or personal history details chronologically. I also had that error but that’s because I had two things going on (personal history) at the same time and I listed them in sub groups (i.e. I had no gaps in work history so I listed my travels separately after work details) If they overlap that’s fine just make sure you don’t jump the dates. The validation program gets confused too lol

Hi everyone

I have a question about linking your application once you receive AOR.

My husband has applied to become permanent resident. His AOR arrived by email and we linked the number to his account with no issues.

I am the sponsor. I also received an email the day after with AOR. I created an account online for myself but could not link my application. I also tried linking it under my husband's account with no luck. On the AOR email, it did not specifically indicate that I had to link my application like my husband's did but I am wondering if I should? And how? The only thing it said on my email is that I could check the status of the application by entering my application number to an online link 'check my status'.

Thank you so much for your time and any insight on this
Hi there,

No worries, it is so simple. You can check the status of your sponsorship here:
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do

You will fill your UCI (not your husband's) and Applicant # (which is same as your husband).
Actually so far, I cannot see that checking this way is important. The most important is to check applicant's account which here is your husband's account to receive new letter request from CIC as well as any update on the application.

We received the AOR in early November and requested to submit Schedule A and Police checks by December 6. We are still waiting on the FBI and not sure how long it will take. Any idea on how we can request for an extension?
thanks

So I worked 2013-05 till 2015-12. During that time I came to canda on holiday at 2 seperate occassions. The form seems okay here.

I wrote the form chronologially with most recent at the top, is that correct or should I end the personal history section with the most recent?

Yes, from my experience (I just got OWP), I wrote the last job on the top, and then the next former jobs.
I did not list the space time between 2 jobs when I stayed at home (to wait for the next job) as the duration time was quite short I think, just from 1 - 2 months. But when you fill Schedule A, you have to list any space time as the requirement says it clearly.

Yeah that's what I've been doing.. It also flags the beginning date of my address which I cannot figure out why... For whatever reason it doesnt like that starting year

In this case, you just put the date when you are filling out the form. As you don't know what is gonna happen in future :p

I submitted my application in early January 2017. AOR in late January 2017. Police certificate and Sch A requested in February 2017. OWP approved in April 2017. Medical exam requested in late May 2017 and passed in early June 2017. And I heard nothing since June 2017.

Anyone in the same situation? I hope SA and AIP would be coming soon....

I am a Feb 2017 applicant. Been waiting since end of June. Nothing from CIC since then. I am guessing they are going through 2016 applicants. I do see a couple of the Jan 2017 applicants who have received SA and AIP.

We just have to wait. If it goes over the 12 months timeline, then I suggest giving CIC a call, but right now they are within the 12 months.
