thanks :) me too...was hoping contacting the MP would be as speedy as some that are on this forum...just my luck though :(

Unfortunately, the MP's have individual bias toward immigration. And, indeed, out east, there is a different concept of time. In Ontario, it's dramatically different -- we live by the minute, and out there -- not so much. I am guessing both are factors here :(.

I would honestly like to thank those again like @profiler @sylvain1 @carolbb23 @browning911 and a lot of those moderators such as @scylla @Rob_TO etc who's cases have ended a long time ago but yet still participate in helping others on this forum. Information that would be costly anywhere else. Honestly, thank you all!

Congratulations! I'm truly happy for you that's it's finally coming to the end! You also helped a lot of people here and in other threads; plus you were always positive despite your application taking longer than others. That tells me a lot on you as well, so I couldn't be happier that your turn finally came!

I didn't do anything -- but sure! I'll take @sylvain1 's credit, any day! ;) You bet!
You, funny guy!!! You're the one that is helping everyone. My contribution is much smaller, but I do what I can whenever I have some time.

There is always a comedian in the crowd :).

Lately, I have been inundated with work projects. Working until 2 or 3am, and back at the grind for 8 has been the schedule for the last 3 weeks :/. So my 'contribution' is shrinking as a result :(

woohooooo!!!! Congrats!!!!

I can finally do a happy dance!!!! (after I about hyper-ventilated and hubby told me to calm down)

We are pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be
finalized at your next interview that has been scheduled for:
September 14th, 2017 at 10:00AM

Got a call this morning from "private number". It was an immigration officer, offering me my choice of days/times for the appointment. I could hardly answer her. After I decided what day and time, I put down the phone and went screaming out the door for hubby, who was building his shed. I scared him to death, lol. He didnt know what was going on, I could hardly get the words out of my mouth. His response was "finally, its done!".
I cant even begin to describe how I feel, been so emotional all day. Im more excited about this appointment than I was about the DM. I guess because now its final.
This girl is on top of the world right now :)
