Hello everybody!

My apologies for the delay in posting, had been so busy with work.

I landed on the Aug' 3rd 2017 at the Etobicoke office. The process barely too 10 mins. The agent just asked me if I have been convicted of any offences and if I had any children outside of Canada. Then he asked me verify the information on the paper and I signed the COPR.

My interview was scheduled at 10:00 however I was called at 10:20.

Also, it seems they go by token numbers irespective of the time mentioned in the appointment letter.

Larger offices would use the number system. Makes sense. Kitchener uses first come, first served as well.

You could.. they are working weekends lately...

But you didn't get a procedural fairness letter (a document request is normal... Fairness letters are not). So 100% it's positive.

My application was received on May 9, 2016 by CIC and it seems that it's still in process.

Does anyone who applied on May, 2016 and still waiting...? I applied inland sponsor PR application and I am really concerned as I am not hearing anything from CIC yet..

Did they direct you in your DM letter? Usually, I would say Case Specific Enquiry...but that'd take 30-60days to be added to your file... You'll be landed by then!

Call the call centre Tuesday (sorry!) To advise them of the receipt number. They'll have that number that they can link to your file.

@profiler: Out of context question: Did you mention you work for IHS Markit or similar type of company? Just curious. These are really awesome jobs man.

I would just call the call centre. Tell them it's paid and offer the receipt number. That's all you'd have to do. Otherwise, there is no way that they'd add it to your file by the time you land (which they check RPRF at landing).

I don't actually. I've never heard of these guys. I do work for a company involved in: Aerospace, Defense and Intelligence, and Maritime industries.
