Update:

Requested for rescheduling landing interview date at the beginning of July, and they made it rescheduled just 10 days later. The new date gonna be this Thursday, July 27. Should thumb up to CIC's working efficiency. Much faster than before.
congratulations!

Nope. He was like 3 days old, and that skin is very thin. He objected more to being restrained.

Yeah it's pretty common. Easy to fix. Less than 15sec, including time for instructions.

that's good

Last update from me: landing done at Vancouver! It was fast and easy.
I'm so happy and we feel so much more relaxed now. Good luck to everyone who still waiting. And thank you all!

Congrats Kristina! Happy for you.

Hi guys,

In the "Review of additional documents" section of my application, it says "We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details".
Does anyone have the same message?
What does that imply?
It used to be " We need additional documents. Check your messages below for details" which was a system glitch.

@sylvain1 @browning911 so the wife and I just got home from her surgery... An extraction, some digging of the old root canal out, bone grafting, then install a denture (for now).

$2400 for today...in an hour... And she's in loads of pain. Can't help but feel helpless here. I was going to demand pain drugs, but she said no....

a few vodka shots and the pain will be more manageable, isn't it the official Russian pain killer? :D
Joke aside, I hope she will recover fast.

Aww so sorry to hear that Mrs. P is in so much pain. She needs pain medication ASAP and she needs to rest and have her feet rubbed. Request next time that the Dentist give her the prescription before she goes for the surgery so she can refill it and take pain medication right away.

Will she be 100% healed before she travels?

Are they going to do an implant afterwards?

Ouch @CAD$2400.00 how much do you get reimbursed?

I was thinking a trip to the pharma for Tylenol #1s. It's very small codeine dose to help...

it might help, but a drug prescription would really be better.

They can't do implant until it heals. So 6-8 mos. She had receeding bone in her jaw...which was the primary cause for the root canal rupture. So this, then a screw in her skull in 8mos, then a crown a couple mos after.

Moscow dentist that did the previous work said the Canadian dentists are spot on, and said the work should be done here.

We have 50% restorative. They don't cover implant. But given that it was raging infection, they have to do something. They will cover extraction, denture, x-ray, etc. Just not implant explicitly.

Agreed... She refused. T#1 I can get for claiming migraine relief... So... Some is better than none I guess..

Wow...6-8 months. That screwing sounds painful. I hope they will reimburse.
