Because of Canada's 150th birthday (well, of Confederation; or Constitution Day, or Dominion Day, if you are a really old Brit), they give out passes for national parks for free. Pelee is a national park...

Too bad. . Through the grapevine, i hear menu include

All authentic jamaican dishes
From india
Samosa, biryani , butter chicken, curried chicken and naan
Am certain we will have some african culture etc etc etc
For a sunday drive out!!!!

Congrats are in order. I know i would be happy. I am sitting by the window waiting patiently. My time , my celebration. . Living my life until IRCC says it is my time. .

I thought it was pretty funny. Watching a lawn gnome speak with an impressive southern drawl was funny enough... but make it mad or watch it out-right lie was HILARIOUS for me.

BTW: When you take away (or threaten) ACA (Obamacare), you might want to consider, that 'muricans have GUNS. Look at news..

You should receive letters for SA (sponsorship approval) and AIP (approval in principle). But some reported that they never received them. Anyway, the decision made you see on ECAS, means SA and AIP. Next will be a decision made (DM) letter and a landing appointment letter.

Got to land today. Was a short and crisp landing. Was between1-2 pm slot and
Within the slot we were at the end of the queue as everybody else came early. Stood in line for 5 min. They took us in one by one names were called post check in. Some people were taken to the interview room. We were called at one of the counters. She took photo, all my permits and passport t. Asked about crime and dependent to me, asked about bankrupcy and social assistance to my wife (sponsor), gave us COPR, punched all permits and said congrats you landed. Done n dusted. Ow off to a
Nice job estaurant to enjoy the evening. It was a smooth and nice process all through and thanks to this forum, it was even smoother. Senior forumers like Profiler, Silvain, Carolbb helped me a lot. Thank you all guys for being with me, you guys are doing a wonderful job here. I am not going off from the forum, least the 2016 thread. Will come back periodically to talk to you guys and may be even answer some questions when I can. Cheers
