I try... but sometimes it's trying on me... Thanks for the kind words, brother.

The best part of this whole thing is, eventually, it all ends. It's a brief blip on the radar later in your life, if at all. For my wife, besides being a little homesick, she has lived a totally normal life. Gets up every day, goes to work, comes home to her family... everything is normal for her...

She remembers CIC when I tell her a piece of news, or give her something from them... I think that's the best way to live really. Think about it...

Thanks for all you do to help people on this forum. You continue to make the wait bearable. I really appreciate you and thank God that we met on this forum.

wow!!!!
this is a process that can be very unnerving-verb
gerund or present participle: unnerving
make (someone) lose courage or confidence.
"the bleakness of his gaze unnerved her"
synonyms: demoralize, discourage, dishearten, dispirit, daunt, alarm,
frighten, dismay, disconcert, discompose, perturb, upset, discomfit, take
aback, unsettle, disquiet, fluster, agitate, shake, ruffle, throw off balance;
so i am looking forward to being able to travel
looking forward complete this process
here, there are are some contributors who offers their advise , some i agree with some i disagree, but i take nothing personal, here i owe no one anything and no one owes me.
i guess we can all conclude one thing, we want to land!!!!!ha ha ha

Yes meaningful, I am looking forward to us travelling to Saint Lucia together, where we are both from.

We have to happy when someone else gets good news even if we have are still waiting. And of course we are human and there will be times when we get discouraged or sad or down but blaming someone else is just negative and wasted energy.

Wanting to talk about Refugees on this Forum, but "sickened" by the "political vibe" .... my my, what a conundrum that is.

Wanting to swim in the Ocean but not get wet....you know where i'm going with this ...

Update- March 2016

I just received notice that I'm eligible for Permanent Residence! They said in the letter that I have to go through Medical (done) background check, etc, and pay for my right to permanent residency. :)

Hopefully, not much longer!

Congrats Azzil! Fantastic news!!!

Just wondering how do they know if my case is more complex than others or not if in the notes I received last week it says that my eligibility as a sponsor has NOT STARTED YET. And it's 11 months since we submitted our application

So please tell me how do they magically know if they didn't even start looking at it?

Basically even if not more complex every case is different. Perhaps some people provided what was deemed more concrete proof of relationship, just as an example. GuyanaGirl (Sorry girlie had to use you) was with her partner for 10 years (longer than some marriages). So she had evidence for a decade for her relationship with her SO.

She applied in July 2016 and I applied in March 2016. I have been met my hubby in 2010 and we moved in together in August 2014. She will have more evidence of proof of relationship than me. 10 years vs almost three years. Things like that make a difference.

Editted: GuyanaGirl has SA/AIP/DM and I am waiting.

Who said they have not started looking at your file? Did you order your GCMS notes?

Haha ha i want to go hang out in negril(jamaica) for a week. I will only be able to can afford a week after this process :D
I know for sure i have to save some money to pay the shrink to keep me in my right mind when all this is over. Lol
My wife think am addicted to this forum ha ha and she may be right! But when i come here , read some of what is contributed here, i know its the process
So all i do is humble myself and wait.we all wish to finish, but from whichever perspective you view this from, its a previledge ,not a right.
IRCC emailed me in March saying they had evidence i worked in Afghanistan :o
As a police officer. . . . . I took the advise of that profiler, and i calm myself, because i knew that wasnt accurate.
What did i do? Send my personal, educational and professional history.
WHATS THE PURPOSE BLOWING A FUSE???
BUT I SURE WANT A WHISKEY ON THAT WHITE SANDY BEACH IN NEGRIL WHEN ALL THIS IS OVER.
