I firmly believe, in their case, the agent wanted to push this case out as fast as possible, and the belief was to cut out the near-useless rep that was in the way. They originally asked for a PP renewal, then it was mentioned that they would try to expedite the landing so his passport was still valid when landing.

For us, it was all email.

Yes, I think you are right. I would not mind them calling but I hate unknown numbers because 99% of the time it is someone selling something.

For me, I want to know what happened to my DM. Why did the case magically show up at Kitchener. It could indicate a request for "review" from CPC-M. The net result is the same, but I want to figure out what happened.

Hi guys, quick question...does anyone know how long, on average/roughly/give or take, it takes from AIP to DM? I applied for spousal PR Dec 15th, 2015 and received AIP on Feb 17th, 2017. ECAS file status is 'Application Received'. I'm getting antsy for them to get going on finalizing their decision. Spoke to the CIC call centre a few weeks ago and they told me the file is currently going through the Security checks. Each step in the process just seems to go in slow motion. Any feedback will be appreciated!

1.when did you enter canada no
2. did you leave Canada and come back no
3.criminal record in canada or Portugal no
4.dependents yes his son name
5.ever deported no

Totally variable. We took a week from SA to AIP. Then we were delayed because of a redo medical. Some are going from AOR -> DM in minutes to hours. Some are taking months.

So, hard to say. If security isn't done yet, they can't move until it's done.

thank you we got there at 1:15 we did landing in 2:30 pm 3:15 got new sin number
