I haven't received an SA, this is the first thing they have sent to us

Whether they email it to you or not, you do have SA, otherwise you don't meet the eligibility requirements to apply for sponsorship under the spouse or common law partner in Canada class -- you'd be missing a key piece -- the SPONSOR.

I will say though, through my (the Sponsor) eCAS, the Sponsorship Application Status says "In Process", and when I click on it it says
"1. We received your application to sponsor X X X on November 9, 2016.
2. We started processing your application on November 30, 2016."

The Permanent Residence Application Status only says "Application Received", and when I click on that it says
"1. We received X X X's application for permanent residence on November 9, 2016."

Does this mean, it might be the PR and that the PR hasn't started being processed?

Are you able to confirm this, profiler?
My apologies for being pushy, just don't know if it got missed, and am curious.

Hello guys,

QUICK QUESTION

I am a 9 may 2016 applicant and CIC requested FBI clearence on 30th March 2017.

I have submitted the application to FBI and it will take around 60 days for me to receive the FBI report.

CIC mentioned in the FBI request email that if we donot receive your FBI report till 30th April we may reject the whole application for that reason i have raised a CSE ( CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY ) on 7th April sending them the receipts and telling them once i receive i will forward to CIC as soon as possible.

Reason to worry:- No response for my CSE ( CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY ), its been more than 15 days now since i am waiting for they reply. DO I NEED TO WORRY ???

and will they ever reply or just i send my FBI docs once i receive. ???

PLEASE HELP ME CALM OUT FROM MY SITUATION

You got a thank you email for submitting. If you sent proof that the FBI package was paid for and ordered, no issue. They know it takes time. They will just extend. If they cancel, send a letter of reconsideration and your than you email. Easy.

Thanks a lot profiler. I got a thank you email but no response from them.

just courious :- Do you know the expected response time or do they even respond to CSE ( case sepcific enquiry )

Flip a coin. It's CIC...
Supposed to be 10 days. I submitted documents and it took 60...

ANOTHER QUICK QUESTION.

1) i submitted application on 9th may 2016 with upfront medicals. its been a year, will they request a new medical now again. MY ECAS says "medical results have been received"

2) i have not submitted PCC for canada for my wife. will they ask for RCMP PCC also . They already requested FBI clearence.

if answer to 2nd is they will ask for PCC canada.

1) Can i send upfront CANADA PCC also with my wife's FBI report, which i have to submit as per CIC request

Ooh Browning never saw your question. My timeline is as follows.
App Received Feb 19, 2016
S.A. July 5, 2016
AIP July 13, 2016
DM March 28, 2017 says to wait on Etobicoke
Landing Letter received in email April 20, 2017 for appointment date April 27, 2017.
I was really expecting to wait on Etobicoke 7-8 weeks

2 - no. They can query RCMP CPIC. Everything online says no. If they ask, you have time.

1 - heh. My wife was in the same situation. Seems to be the officer that decides if to redo or not. Wife's were passed in both systems, then they decided she should redo. It should be noted, some didn't have to. Just accept it may have to happen..

2016 lately has become unruly... mostly due to the profiler guy trying to engage others in banter, as to reduce everyone's stress. On his behalf, I apologize for the d-bag :)

You're braver than me... I read back a page or two, tops... lol

So, I have my own question...

What happened to VoodooGirl? Usually she provides me with much needed laughter and inspiration during the days I have to slave over the hot keyboard...

I hope all is well or at minimum copesetic for her on this..."Good" Friday!

Good afternoon everyone

I have another quick question: I brought my wife into the local police station for the fingerprinting needed to request a PCC from Mexico. They did a digital process, charged us $65 and said they results will come from Ottawa in two weeks. Is this correct? Thats not what I was expecting.
