Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Dec 2016 applicant here, got my OWP today

i am February 8th 2016 i never checked the sponsor ecas wich my wife only today it looks like this : Sponsored Person: my name Sponsorship Application Statusecision Made
Permanent Residence Application Status: Application Received.

Guys i just called CIC regarding my OWP ...entered my application number for OWP and the automated recording system said my case is closed and the application was approved.> thank god for this. I have been waiting since Sept 30th.

I applied February 2016 and I just got a letter today saying that my application has been looked at and they sent another letter stating that the IRCC will be in contact to say when the appointment for a face to face meeting will be

ECAS changed to DM yesterday
DM letter in mycic early this morning. ;D

I did my MEDs upfront on Feb 2, 2016. Called IRCC after it would have expired to ask if they received it since its receipt was not acknowledged. Agent said the results came in before the App. The next day it showed Pass.

It brings me great joy to report that my OWP has been approved on mycic this evening. Hopefully it will be in the mailbox my next week.

Our app was received on Jan 21, 2016; AORs on Mar 11 and Jun 1, 2016; and then SA on Jul 5 and AIP on Jul 13 (I'm in that batch of AIPs that were granted on Jul 13).

After receiving SA, AIP and medical request all in the same day of March 10th. Getting more anxious now since from what I read, their status for medical result were updated to passed just one week after they did their MED exam. My ECAS for sponsor = DM, PA = Application Receive.

heeey people, I right now received email "i am pleased to advise you that the processing of your app for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for" and then it is the date and what I need to have with me on that day... I am so happy, I supposed that is the landing interview..

Hi I just received an update for my application In my letter it says
It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence.......

but i live in Edmonton why they send it to Vancouver

Second case in as many months. Edmonton is overloaded. Cases can and frequently do move around the national processing network. I wouldn't worry about it.

F000xxxxxx is the inland PR application. The other will be the OWP. They will send you a paper copy of your OWP, when they grant it.

Did you fill out the Use of a Representative form? Generally, the Sponsor will hear from CIC first, as they assess the sponsor first. Though you shouldn't worry too much just yet about that.

We only used the rep for part of the process, and won't be representing us after it was lodged.

My concern is that i still haven't got anything to say my OWP has been received, but it's in mycic. When i used the phone service this morning to check the status, it says it was received 1 month before we actually applied, which is concerning and confusing. We were under the impression that it was both being sent by post, and now my OWP is received as online and well before we mailed both applications

You know who? Oh, you mean Don the Con? heh. All I can do, is laugh. To his credit, somehow, despite being completely unable to govern (he can't make laws, despite having a controlling majority in the house and senate; unable to push executive orders -- because judges are blocking them for being unconstitutional; and his own party is investigating everyone he is connected with for being Russian Agents), I must admit, the wheels haven't come off the bus quite yet. Unlike the US, here we have a virtual dictatorship as no one would go against their party since a losing bill would mean a new election. Even then, he can't get legislation passed....e.g. Bill C-6. How in Canada, when you control everything, does it take years to pass a bill that the government supposedly supports?

You mean on the phone?? haha no, the first time i called it said they could not connect me to an operator because of high call volume, and when i called back i got a wait time of 45 minutes, which i couldn't wait that long for. There is the automated service where you can input the digits of your application number followed by your year of birth, and it gives some limited info.

Yeah, yeah. Blame me for it. That said, it can't be a dictatorship, nor an autocracy, just by nature of what you have already said.

He didn't tell us how things will be, in fact, the process is still functional. Laws can still be passed, and must pass peer review. C-6 is failing at that little "peer review" part that makes it not a dictatorship/autocracy.
