Thanks browning911, it took more than a year with nothing, all of the sudden it came with all.
your turn will come shortly too, hope for the best for all of us. it is a painful process.

Thanks a lot guys for the good work. Please keep going.

Jan 2016 Inland applicant who did medicals upfront and submitted with the application. My spouse got medical request again on Febraury 27th. But when we check the status of the application it says application received with below comments.

We received your application for permanent residence on January 12, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

Do people get medical request by mistake?
Do we need to redo the medical tests? If not, should I contact CIC?
Though we got Sponsor approval, status is still application received (not changed to application in progress), is it normal?
Should I pay RPRF fee now? If I pay online, how should I intimate CIC that I paid online?

Thanks in Advance

Medical result will only valid for 1 year. so your spouse needs to submit a new one.

I would pay your RPRF now, and send them the pdf of the receipt over webform or myCIC. Also keep a copy for when you land, in case they have not yet seen the receipt.

As to the medical, call CIC and ask if it might be an error (if it was already received and approved).

For ecas related questions, see my signature.

They can choose to accept/extend them. Once they have been accepted and approved, they should not need them again. CIC accepted and approved my wife's medicals just before expiry. They have advised our MP that they have been accepted and approved.

AIP means the person is eligible to apply for residency. Are you eligible?

I thought you were a resident already (PR/Citizen??). If you are a resident, you would not be eligible to apply -- you already possess that right.

Then you are not eligible to apply for residency -- you possess that right already. Your husband, however, does not possess residency yet, right? That would mean he is eligible :).

PA's will get AOR, AIP and DM letters.
Sponsors will only get AOR and SA.
