Can I change the address directly by logging into ecas? Coz Case specific enquiry will take a lot of time!

Usually it's within 5 days for address changes by mycic. But yes you can on ecas. Click the link....it will have you login on ecas but take you direct to the address change window.

Not on cic....just via what i see from those reporting approvals (spreadsheet). And the phone greeting....despite saying the wrong year.

I don't think they are actually saying the "wrong year". They just removed any possible ways to complain. They say they are working on all applications prior to the announcement made on December 7th, 2016. There is no more timeline for SA and AIP, they removed that information from the website. So there is basically no way to complain of anything if you are still within the 26 months timeline. If you call and you have applied prior to December 7th 2016, they will tell you to wait, they are working on all those applications and the timeline is 26 months (which is obviously not true).

Went from August 15ish, 2015 to Aug. 21, 2016 (when they were still working on mainly August 2015 applicants) to December 7, 2016 to now December 15, 2016. A bunch of us December 2015 apps had just gotten first stage approvals when they changed to Dec. 7th...and now I've been seeing updates for Mid-December 2015 when updating the spreadsheet.

When I called on my app, my lunch break was just ending or, I'd have confirmed with the agent. They messed up last summer on the year too...saying March 2016...but a few days later updated to 2015. I think they just haven't figured out they still have the year wrong.

Maybe who ever calls next, can inquire. I tried tweeting a few weeks ago and of course didn't get a response.

I'm just confused why they haven't caught it yet...people have to have said something by now. it would create more calls for them by keeping the wrong year.

I received an email from cic today saying my IMM 5406 and/or 5669 were incompleted. I couldn't see any problems with 5406, but it could be with 5669.
Do I have to fill addresses without any gaps? I thought only or personal history that requires no gaps...
Does anyone know??

When did you get the date for interview, meaning what is the approximate wait time from when you get PPR letter to the actual interview? I know that in other classes of PR, they have an alternative to interview (especially because it can take up to 3-4 months to get a date) which is called flag polling. In flag polling you choose time and date and you are approved immediately and then you get PR card in approximately 1 month. Do you know by any chance we also have the flag polling option available? I understand that in our case they wanna se the sponsor and applicant together in interview, if someone does the same thing during flag pole (appears before the CBSA officer in pair with documents), will it be acceptable?

ALL inland spousal applicants are given an interview date--you cannot choose, but you can change if you are unavailable. And the sponsor and applicant must attend together. The timing of when you get your date varies based on the landing office. Flag poling is only an option for Outland spousal--for those living in Canada who applied Outland.

I have a quicker office (Surrey/Vancouver)...I did not get a DM letter, but it showed on my eCAS Feb 2nd...then I got my Landing letter yesterday by email for my appointment that is on Monday the 13th.

Some who are landing in Etobicoke--the busiest office can see weeks to just over a month pass before even receiving the date of their landing interview. With the date of landing being a week to few weeks later.

I'm not too familiar with those landing there....but if you look at the spreadsheet---go to the left past OWP dates...and look for those who landed there recently. You can see the time between DM and landing...and some mention when they got their landing letters in the comments box.

When did you apply for PR....did you include an application for an open work permit?
