Canada Spousal Sponsorship Petitioners is one of the more active in my opinion--also may happen to be an Admin in it. :)

I just requested to join :D :D

... right!?!??

You should get ready to pay your RPRF!! Maybe browning911 can set you up with a gofundme?

Honestly, can we??? haha I'm gonna have to start saving again like I did for my application since it's a lot of money to drop at once. Unfortunately,my bf is the only one working right now. I know you can ask for a loan from CIC to pay for it but I feel like that may look a little bad so I'm trying to avoid that route.

Loan? They'd do that? Isn't that social assistance??

You can tie the gofundme to my moniker, and I'll add a donation message to my signature:
"If this post helped you, or you just want profiler to stfu, please donate to: // insert link to campaign //."

It's a loan through CIC. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/service/loan/rprf.asp

Huh.. but isn't that for live in caregivers?
I'd bet we could surpass the $490 just from people wanting to silence me... ;)

Anyway, it's not a bad idea.. just keep in mind there is an admin fee....

It's for family class sponsorship as well. It's my absolute last resort. I don't like loans.

OWP, leave all employer and employment details blank. It's open, meaning anywhere for anyone.

New employer means you don't know yet (in OWP) -- pick this one.

New permit same employer is for closed work permits. Don't choose this one.

Restore status, well if you're out of status for 90 days or less, you can request to restore it as a worker. Not needed if you file before your present permit expires.

No. Inland OWP expects that you'd be eligible for provincial health care insurance. Not needed.

Thank you so much that helped me a lot!!

Thank you so much that helped me a lot!!

So I will basically leave "Details of intended work in canada" blank? Although I can´t leave it bland because then it turns red, so should I put N/A instead?

Hello all,

I submitted my app along with OWP on Sep 16 - 2016 and I have an representative. When I tried to link my OWP to my GC account, it says record found but could not link because I have an representative. Can my representative link from her side? She also says linking doesn't make any difference and asked me to wait until Feb 1st week before contacting CIC. My point is at least I will know if WP is granted if I link it online.

Cant wait to get my WP. Its super boring to be busy doing nothing ;-)

Any comments or suggestions?

Here is a link to a crash course on that form:

Don't set the restoration of status or pay the restoration fee..

You can't link in myCIC with a lawyer/consultant on file..

Hi all,
I am Sep/2016 applicant waiting for my OWP.
I just linked my OWP application into my CIC account and now it says "Online Application". Is this normal? Of course, I submitted PR and OWP applications together by mail...
Also, it's been already 4 months and status says "Open", that's it.

If anyone has any idea with you experience, please let me know! Thanks guys!
