Does anyone have problems using sponsor info to check application status? It keeps saying canMt find application

I haven't been able to find my application using ANY info on me or my sponsor. Will just keep waiting and trying I guess!

Apparently putting just a single space in the passport number field, or something like that will help you find it? There is a whole thread on trouble finding it.

In ECAS, use: Application Number, Sponsor's Surname, Sponsor's DOB, and Sponsor's Country of Origin. That *should* work.

My fingers are itching....like they want to request more GCMS notes. :-\

I made a request for update on Oct 19... would you be surprised if they didn't answer me?

lol...no they will answer you. I got the last notes really fast. I just want to know if I have been taken out of storage and put in SIR. It's so hard not knowing.

My original request was August 22.... At 30 days I asked what's up and because they are late, can they pull new ones to save both of us the hassle of me re-requesting... At 60 days I asked them what's up...

NO F*&^%$ ANSWER!

I am strongly considering a call to Kitchener-South's MP's office ...

You know we were going to see our MP too after we never got the e-mails for updated forms. I even called and they told us to come in. Then I read on here that it might now be such a good idea because it might make IRCC mad. So we decided to hold off and then we got the resubmitted request in October. I think it was because I kept sending CSEs asking informing them that we never received the two e-mails and to please resend. The letters were dated October so they did not resend the ones the supposedly sent it June. They sent new ones.

But I digress...........

I do not think you should go to your MP just yet. I would only go if they lost our application or processing time exceeds the new normal time for processing.

I was one of those you read making the statements not to piss the IRCC off. This is the ATIP office inside IRCC though. I wasn't going to call just yet, but it's been on my mind for some time now...

LOL. They must think us so annoying to be requesting the GCMS notes or that's what my husband says.

Yes they sure do... here is the problem:

Imagine, you go to work, you sit down at your computer, and some d-bag is standing behind you looking over your shoulder the entire time you are at work. Now, add to that, that said d-bag starts making corrections to what you are doing, or changing the parameters of what you are working on...

Now, multiple that by 35h a week and by 50wks a yr.

^^ That equation is the root of people going postal.

Now, that is basically what like everyone (lawyers, consultants, laypeople) are doing to the IRCC when they order notes....

Thanks for making me feel guilty. Okay, I won't request them for a while and I told my husband I would not so I won't. But if they just copy and pasted all of this into our GCKey then we would not have to contact ATIP.

But you know what? Can you imagine if I had not requested the notes we would have not even known we had a documents request. I changed my mind it is our right to know.

Oh no don't feel guilty.

But I am just saying... in moderation it's fine.

Me too. Tried my AOR application number, client id of spouse, with all possible variations and still no luck.
