Hi there I did call cic call centre and asked about my status and agent told was fine but she told me that I have to wait for 16 months means until April 2017 for my first stage approval then total is 26 months and I asked about the SIR like m I part of reduction inventory system and she said I don't know. It mean I'm not part of it. I am very disappointed today. We applied in December 2015 and nothing yet. Got aor and pcc request on June 17.

- Applied before or on June 13, 2016
- No AIP before June 13, 2016

As of June 2016, the processing times were 22 months, not 26. So, I will have to humbly disagree with the information you were given today.

Pcc from back home June 17,2016.
After that nothing yet but my husband booked the medical now. I think my case is not straight forward. I am going back home in December i and I want this to be finish by then but no body knows how long they gonna take. Thanks

You're in the SIR. The qualifications for cases to be added to SIR was announced as: must be in inventory on June 13, 2016 and no first-stage approval (AIP). So, your case is definitely in SIR.

That said, the PCC request on June 17 also tells me you were in the first wave of document requests. They are currently landing people from that wave. Now, I cannot tell you what group you are in, because the current tracking of cases is inadequate (I have made suggestions that I could fix it, but no one seems to reply).

OK, here are some things to consider: they appear to be landing (no SA, no AIP, no DM) cases from the June 16-18 document request wave. So, you could be landing soon. Also, it will depend on which local Visa Office (the CIC office closest to you) and how busy they are. Also, you stated that your case might not be straight forward. If that's the case, that VO may be working on interview preparations. With this in mind, you should be ordering your GCMS notes tonight. That way you might have a hope in getting them before the interview to try to correct any problems, or prepare -- IF that's what they are doing.

So from when is the four month time frame? From the date they received the application i.e 2016 Sep 16 or from 2016 Oct 20(recieved AOR)? Is there any advantage if I link my application or it doesn't matter?

The counting starts from Sept 16. The day they received it. Date the AOR is received is irrelevant, but the date typed on the AOR should match and say Sept 16.

Well, Vegreville was doing inland applications. I believe CPC-V is doing all the security and criminality checks now for inlands. But that doesn't mean anything.

Otherwise, people will just be giving you guesses. The notes will tell you exactly what the officers have noted on your file.
