Nope, I asked the doctor I plan on seeing. But if your spouse has a sweet medical package at work(like mine has) you can ask for reimbursement .

maria_mirabela said:Yeah I did, on paper, together with the PR. I assumed it was better this way. Then when I applied for restoration of status and sent a CSE note linked to the WP app to let them know I am restoring my status; so when I will have a decision made, if positive, I asked for OWP under the pilot program blah blah blah...

profiler said:Technically, you have status now. You have implied status (and OWP's are like never refused).

matthars said:Interesting, I wouldn't have thought insurance would cover such exams. Good to know, thanks.

We are going to renew the TRV (expires in 30 Dec 2016), just in case.

maria_mirabela said:I'm not talking about spouse's OHIP. I'm talking about private health insurance that's part of the employment package. This is different from company to company; some offer an extensive package some offer none. Oh, and my medicals will cost about 300 CAD here in Toronto.
profiler said:$190 in Kitchener incl x-ray and bloodwork.
maria_mirabela said:Damn, life is sweet in Kitchener! Except for the road maze, of course ;D

matthars said:Yes, I figured it was employment insurance. What would this expense go under though? Its not a medical necessity. I guess we will submit and see what happens.
