Morning, guys!

Apparently the government is trying indeed to reduce the backlog and process the apps faster. Look what I found on LinkedIn jobs app:

" Senior Processing Officer
The Government of Ontario is looking for several Senior Processing Officers to support the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program in the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration.
"

I curently receive notifications related to immigration jobs, as I have some background on law and public relations. I totally agree with Canad1anAl1en, if you can help, if you can make it better even for one person, then you're not leaving just a carbon footprint begin you. So personally I really consider a job in this area. It's a win-win. Anywayz, that was my morning coffee rant...

browning911, CanadianAl1en: did I call that one or what? ;). I guess they are trying to clear out the 'distortion'.

Hey can someone please add me to the excel spreadsheet. :)
Canada Post delivered my application August 9th 2016
My sponsor received AOR today August 31st 2016
He is a Canadian citizen by birth. I'm originally from Russia. On pgwp in Canada. Didn't apply for OWP.

You can enter your data on New Entry and Update sheet (first one) along with your username and your details will be added.

У нас с вами практические одинаковые даты. Поздравляю с получением первого АОР, теперь остается только ждать :)

But... the OP was stating in english... And it might not be a terrible wait. marie_mirabela let us know they posted some positions on LinkedIn to do immigration processing in Ontario (where inland applications are largely processed)...

Hey Guys,
Is it possible for the applicant (under spousal sponsorship inland) to travel out of canada for 4-5 months while the OWP application is being processed? The applicant arrived on tourist visa and then sponsorship was made.

Also, if we choose to apply through outland, then can the applicant be in Canada on tourist visa?

of course they can be tourist here, and it more easy if the home country of the applicant is the visa exempt (passport only and not visa required countries).

That job posting was for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program which doesn't deal with Family Class anyway. And if anything, hiring more people to process these types of applications means that they are looking to add more people to the program and thus increase the load on IRCC (where PNP application eventually go). IRCC is a federal department which puts its job postings on the jobs-emplois.gc.ca board. I know we're anxious, but this is a non-news and doesn't help us at all. Also, I think you may be confusing 'Ontario' and 'Canada', common mistake though.

It sounds like it would at least affect applicants destined for Ontario, no? Sounded that way...

Hi Everyone. I am a little frantic and nervous because we just got the GCMS notes. There is one note that is concerning.

See below:

I need to know what to do first. Well I know need to resend the requested forms but not sure what was not included and want them to know that we never received the e-mail they supposedly sent. Should be make a CSE enquiry and ask them to resend the e-mail that we never received requesting schedule A and IMM5406? Anxious because don't want them to think we ignored a directive.

Would it hurt to submit an updated IMM5406?
