Today CIC asked me for police certificate from France. 2013 I was in France, no idea now how to obtain a police certificate from France?
I sent my application to CIC-M and now they are saying I have to send it to CIC-V.

It clearly said on the email,that i did not included the PCC. I dont know what's with them.
All the PCC that i sent are all complete.

I guess we have no choice, we have to comply with the CIC's request on PCC.

it will slow down our application but no way, we have to do it.

I already received my OWP.

I refuse to believe that they have lost all of our PCC and we all have to get new ones. My letter also said "As per our records, you have not submitted the required police certificates from the country(ies) listed below: ..." Which sounds scary, but I think is just boilerplate text. When I sent a copy of the one they requested and a letter explaining (by post) I eventually got a letter back from CIC saying "This acknowledges receipt of the requested information or documentation detailed in a recent request...blah blah blah." I think that is fine.

Got the same letter from CIC asking for police clearances - difference is, we've included one (PH) but we didn't realize we'll be needing one from the USA.

My question is, when we send the FBI clearance, do we just put a note/letter stating that the other has been sent with the original app?

Thank you to all of you for sharing your experience. Im going to reply to them with explanation letter stating that i've already submitted my PCC and attached the certified true copy of my PCC. Good thing i have one.

Has anyone applied for health card in Edmonton with AIP?
I got a rude shock today i was told at the regestry that they accept COPR only.

I'm not sure if AIP can help one get a health card.

Do you have a OWP? It can be used to get an health card in Alberta. However, the card had validity until the expiration of your work permit. Nevertheless, it serves the purpose.

Alam, contact the Consulate/Embassy for France in the province you reside on how to do it.

Pedropil, even though you are mailing it I would still send a case specific enquiry and let them know that it was sent with the application and attach the copy.

Just to clarify - im not sure that all of the Service Ontario locations will be able to issue you with the OHIP card. I'm on a working holiday visa which is an open work permit and I had to go to a special Service Ontario in Milton. So it was a bit of a trek from work and where I live but that was the closest that could do it. Well worth it though! Make sure when you go to get your OHIP card they can actually process it at that Centre. ☺

Thanks for the information. We will make that the Service Canada office accepts OHIP applications before we go.

Did you receive AOR (acknowledgement of receipt of your application)? I suggest that you contact CIC (Telephone No: 1 888 242 2100) and see what they say.
