Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

sheisoptimistic, we included a copy of the passport in the application packages we sent so they never asked us for it.

We are still patiently waiting on SA and OWP.

I had the tourist visa and previous entry stamps on one passport (expired) and last entry on the new passport. I sent copies of both, just in case. Also, my UCI number is associated with the expired passport number and since they asked to fill in the UCI in one form (don't remember which) I though I should better be safe than sorry.

thanks guys, we thought to send it but decided to send exactly what they asked for which was the passport (expired) with the entry stamps. But it's ok getting SA and the app getting moved to Vegreville showed me it's moving along nicely.

Just wondering - can I call CIC and ask if my OWP is in process at the moment?

I applied for the OWP 1 week AFTER I applied for to sponsor my fiance. I sent the OWP package to Vegreville directly as per instructions on the website.

same here Mr. Browming.... cic recieved my application March 31 (PR/OWP) after a month i received my File number/UCI may 2. we have exactlly same timeline... anyway just wanna ask do you have any idea how many month do we need to wait for SA decision? thank you Goodluck

Just wondering - can I call CIC and ask if my OWP is in process at the moment?

I applied for the OWP 1 week AFTER I applied for to sponsor my fiance. I sent the OWP package to Vegreville directly as per instructions on the website.

I called CIC last week and the CIC representative told me that we have to wait 4 months before it is considered late and they can enquire about the status. So I am going to call back on 30th July, if we have not received OWP by then.

We only got AOR 1. And I was only able to check the status online (ecas) using our app number.
But now I can access to status online (ecas) using sponsor's UCI number. ;D

We received your application to sponsor ### on Feb.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May.
We started processing your application on May.

Can someone tell me what the next step is and how long it would take? We haven't got AOR 2 yet though.

your next step will likely be an email requesting some more information etc or you will receive your SA and AIP emails.
some people received a second AOR either by mail or email but not everybody I think it is a hit and miss

I am on same stage, now can access application status through sponsor login. Applicant has already got AOR2. But E-login says sponsor received AOR1 on 21 May, but we never received it (or deleted).
