Thank you! I linked our work permit application in our CIC account, so when it was finally approved we recieved an email saying we had a new message in our CIC account. If we wouldn't have linked the app we would have had no idea it was coming, there was no other correspondence from them.

Yes. You can apply inland or outland. A lot of people would advise you to apply outland since your husband is from the US - CIC processes US applications faster than other countries from what I've read here.

As of 17th July, 2016: Twenty (20) 2016 applicants have received SA and eleven (11) 2016 applicants have received AIP.

Also, thirty (30) 2016 applicants have received OWP.

Also, question... has anyone from the 2016 applicants been asked for a copy of their current passport?
my husbands passport expired and that was the one with the stamps of last entry so we never sent a copy of the current one with the app.. we've already sent it through the SCE link but just wanted to know if anyone else had the same experience. We are still waiting on applicant AIP so just wondering.

sheisoptimistic, we included a copy of the passport in the application packages we sent so they never asked us for it.

We are still patiently waiting on SA and OWP.

I had the tourist visa and previous entry stamps on one passport (expired) and last entry on the new passport. I sent copies of both, just in case. Also, my UCI number is associated with the expired passport number and since they asked to fill in the UCI in one form (don't remember which) I though I should better be safe than sorry.

same here Mr. Browming.... cic recieved my application March 31 (PR/OWP) after a month i received my File number/UCI may 2. we have exactlly same timeline... anyway just wanna ask do you have any idea how many month do we need to wait for SA decision? thank you Goodluck
