I am wondering the requirements of sponsoring the parents to immigration to Canada after being the citizen. Does anyone have an idea?
I suspect you have something to do with your income, and other things

No its tough but you do not want to be separate from your wife but my mum been in canada since she was 9 years old and my dad Been in canada since he's 17 years old so it's different

They got into EE.

I understand but why not sponsor parent after 3 years
Because as it is right now i believe to sponsor parents to Canada is under a "lottery" type system and is EXTREMELY difficult right now... ( Unless that has changed since May).

In this case the Sponsor is simply withdrawing because the applicant is under Express Entry so this way he/she can eat his/her cake and have it too. Good for them

Excuse me, I have some questions about bringing personal belongings to Canada.

My parents are going to mail my stuff here. What do I need to do right now? Fill out the forms and ask them to attach it with the parcels?

How about the jewellery, they are quite expensive and I am not prefer to bring them here by mail, does it mean I have to be back to my own country and bring them back with me within 6 months since landed?

Thanks

Where did @browning911 go? She should be part of the tsunami...

When you land, you can ask the folks at CIC how to fill out the forms to bring your goods. Though, I would probably have my mother-in-law come with some extra jewelry for a visit... then she can carry stuff across the border and leave it ...

I did ask when I landed, they said they don't know and told me to look it up on the internet.

Do you mean I can ask my family to bring my jewellery here with them?
