Good morning! How are ya? Sorry to hear that you aren't getting answers. Sadly, I don't have the time to roam the forum looking for questions to answer any more. I am happy to do my best otherwise.

1/ Which country?
2/ Does that mean he was sending you money via Western Union? That's just a money broker service.
3/ When we submitted, we used the big-black paperclips to separate our application packages. As long as the checklist is on the top, followed by the barcode page (if memory serves), that should be sufficient.

Have you not filed yet??

Thank you so much for responding so quickly. I been going through this application so many times. I just send it before long weekend. Everytime I look at it I get confused.

1. Jamaica

2. Yes. He send me money using that service

Ok. So is checklist, bar codes then receipts then forms or It checklist, receipts then bar codes then forms

No I not filled yet

thank you :) yes both sides DM....patience is my middle name right now, lol

Yeah I agree that you might be outta here any day now. We'll miss you...

Hello everyone!

Do you guys know until what moment it is possible to withdraw sponsorship application so the sponsor is not obligated to take undertaking for three years? Is it possible after sponsor's dm or during landing interview?
If we withdraw sponsorship application before dm, the work permit will be void or it will be still valid until the wp expiration date?

Well, anytime really. If they have started processing the application, you won't get the money back. The OWP is valid until the date on the permit.

So, the applicant doesn't have to explain how they support themselves. The sponsor does. They are aware that the applicant will have to re-settle. So it's the sponsor's responsibility to make sure that happens.

Jamaica doesn't have any additional identity documents (or anything special) that's required. So, just your travel passport.

Another quick question.

My husband works for a company that has their head office in Vancouver but he works at the Toronto office.

His job letter was typed and signed and fax to him. I told him that it's not a original letter because it was fax to him. He does not want to keep going back and forth with them in Vancouver. Can it be used or not.

Sure. Just add an explanation that the head office is remote. Considering the vast expanse that is Canada, it's common to have remote offices where teams work across the country...

I have a feeling... the tsunami is building....

Is this the main reason you want to withdraw( so you will not be obligated to the 3 year holding period) ? Not being nosey, but just want to make sure no one gave you some messy information about cancelling etc
