Is this the main reason you want to withdraw( so you will not be obligated to the 3 year holding period) ? Not being nosey, but just want to make sure no one gave you some messy information about cancelling etc

yes, it is one of the main reasons, since the sponsor wants to sponsor his mother next year, and the applicant happened to get an ITA under express entry.

Hey friends!

These days lately are like a roller coaster. Some days I'm feeling really good (like the fun part of going downhill on a roller coaster) and other days its as if I'm climbing up the hill of a coaster.

My rep has gathered all the proof, and with 5 short days before its due, he's giving me grief over not having joint bank account with my husband. We have insurance together, licenses with our address on it, plus FOUR new affidavits from neighbors, friends, and my husband's employee stating we hold ourself genuinely out to the world as a married couple.

I get this email from him this morning and want to pull my hair out. I feel like I've done everything I can do. We are a legitamately married couple! Is it actually possible my case might go to court? He hasn't had access to the CIC site so there's no way he knows something that I do not.

"Ok let's put what we have through and keep fingers crossed. Worst case we end up having to fight CIC in court but I may pull the Minister and ask him to intervene in this before that also.

Well, no it can be a couple reasons. In their case they want to sponsor a parent and a spouse (and they cannot do both).

Would you like to be apart from your parents for that long? Mine are in their 70's... there isn't much time left, and I want them to spend it with my son and wife too...

No its tough but you do not want to be separate from your wife but my mum been in canada since she was 9 years old and my dad Been in canada since he's 17 years old so it's different

The big one is money.... you have to pass the Low Income Cutoff for 3 consecutive years (and prove it)
