Hi everyone

Last Wednesday, May 31st, 2017, we received a request to send proof of co-habitation and I got a DM on the Sponsor side as well.

I logged in today in ECAS and in the Sponsor application as well there's a message saying "We sent you correspondence on June 2, 2017 about the decision on your application"

Do you guys have any idea what such correspondence may be about? I didn't get anything so far by mail or e-mail.

Principal Applicant still shows "Application Received". I guess they're waiting for processing the documents we sent last week before updating that right?

No changes for me either. I got medical request on Tuesday, May 30th, did my medical on Friday. ECAS still says application received on my side, sponsor no changes either....

Hopefully soon Tyara. I think it takes a week to two. So we have to wait a bit more.
When did you apply? What does your timeline look like? Have you been asked to submit proofs of relationship or any kind of other documents lately?

Good Morning!

I sponsored my commonlaw wife on July 22, 2016. ECAS shows no update for Sponsor and Applicant side. But when I checked the GC key site, it says

"We have requested a medical exam. Check your messages below for details."

But there are no details below, so I'm thinking that I should wait and maybe the request will come later today.

My question is, Should we still do the medical exam or call CIC? because we have already submitted upfront medical when we submitted our documents. But the medical was done April 2016. So it is already expired considering its only valid for a year right?

We are really overwhelmed, our application is now moving!

My lawyer was using ecas..i could only check through mycic which is not updated very often but my lawyer forward me any correspondence from cic right away. I applied in dec 2016. Got dm a few weeks ago and landing this morning, hopefully

I was upset because Matthars had gotten SA before me, and we applied on the same day. A week later, I got SA. We have already landed now. So, don't fret, hang in there. It's coming...

Help!!! I called IRCC today and got the automated message and it said we need additional documents and that we send you a message but we never got an e-mail. What should we do? I cannot get through to a live agent.

Today I checked status online, and surprisingly found both the sponsor and applicant status have been "decision made", but no more details provided, nor have I received any email or letter. Concerned that maybe it is a decision of REJECTION made?

My husband received an email June 1 that his sponsorship application was approved - I logged in to my account the same day and it said my application for permanent residence was being processed. I log in to my account online this morning and it says "decision made" as well. I'm on the phone with CIC right now, but they've already told me they can't tell me what the decision is over the phone. I have no email yet, but I am confirming if they will notify me via email or letter about the decision - and I've been on hold from speaking with a representative for over 5 minutes now on that confirmation.

If you haven't received a procedural fairness letter before, there is no stress to have. CIC will not reject your application before giving you opportunities to address their concerns (if they had any). So the decision made you are seeing are most likely very positive, you got SA and AIP.

After seeing Decision Made and calling CIC to confirm, I was on hold for significant amount of time while the representative looked into my file, and says that although it says that, a decision has not been made but that my application is in the last few steps, and so for the next 2 months I will hear from them if they need anything. AHhhhhhh!
