I never wanted him to leave. What I felted offended with was the fact of him saying that my question was baseless. I never said that my wife's PR had to be issued before everyone else who applied after us cause I know each case is different. My complaint was that there are lots of applications receiving SA and even landing at the same time that I get my GSMC notes and realize that my application was not even started yet. That's my point. My understanding is that for them to start looking at a given application, they have to have started all applications that were submitted before that one. Now once an application starts yes it can take different timelines to be finished.

He said that my statement was baseless. No it wasn't I have evidence of both people who have applied after me being processed while mine's not started yet and that from my standpoint is a hell of a base. Also he mentioned that the wait is not a problem saying his wife wakes up and goes to work everyday and they have a normal life. It's not like that for everyone. I really whish he told me how would he feel if his father in law passed for instance and his wife did not manage to attend the funeral due to the process.

Best of luck for everyone here

i suggest you call cic about your part the sponsor application you can do that and get the wife to tell them her uči and she tells them I give permission to talk about my case to my husband

Hahahaha sometimes we disagree to agree, and not take things personal because someone shoots a view thats different from ours or what we expect.
For any person to log 5000plus posts, speaks volumes. That profiler, yeah mon!!! Is a cool customer. I think he said he was 38yrs old, his contribution suggests he might be 138 yrs old lol
Joke aside , when other members post a concern, its not generally directed to or at him, but he gives an answer to the best kf his knowledge.
We dont always have to agree.
For me, my head is always running hot, and i rather respond base on how i feel, which is not a good thing,
Few weeks ago i prepared a response to a request from CPC-Vegreville, had i sent that off, whoever looking at my file could easily make a decision in a negative way,
Is anybody going to recheck or cross check? Probably not . The only person it would cost would be me, so i took his (that same profiler) advise, toned it down and sent my response.
Now you have real concern. . . You can have them looked at
1. Call IRCC, they will give you feedback
2 use the CSE to log your concern,
They respond in 5-10 days generally.
The profiler just on a short department leave
He will be back

Profiler is a stand up guy. He is the one person who no matter what will answer everyone's questions. He goes above and beyond to assist.

I haven't posted much on this forum but every couple of days I try to read about 10 pages or so back to catch up. Both my husband and I feel that without the Forum we would be super stressed out and lost. Profiler, Browning, Carol and so many others have been so helpful with their information.

When I went back yesterday and saw that profiler was missing (taking a break perhaps?) I was instantly nervous! I don't want to be left behind, as I might have a couple of months more to go!

He has been the one of the main forum posters and I always enjoy reading his posts. Some people may, as he said, be taking stress of their own situation on others but should realize we are all in the same boat here. We are all stressed and all have our own problems. To attack each other was not the purpose of this forum, as I see it.

Thank-you to all of you that regularly post here, and help even though you may not know it!

Congrats on all of the DM's. If Profiler sees this before tomorrow I congratulate you and hope you have an amazing day!

Again, congrats on the landing! And thank-you very much for sticking around for us still waiting. :)

We are patiently waiting still. My husband got his medical request on April 19 and it showed he passed this week, felt like a small victory. That was the first correspondence we received from CIC since his work permit in September and the police certificate request.

I've been trying to judge out when he will be done, and my hope is this summer.

*raises hand* guilty!

Side note: I have learned that CBSA at the Southern Ontario POEs (e.g Niagara Falls, etc.) no longer do flag-poling for PR landing and new work permit on Fridays-Mondays due to high volume of traffic. Only on Tues-Thurs. FYI for those who intended to flag-pole for PR landing. If you go on Fridays to Mondays, they tell you to come back lol

I defiantly does takes time. :)

We are from May of 2016, I remember Profiler said the trend is about 13.5 months, so that is sticking in my head. Of course it may or may not happen. Such is the life under CIC.

Guess What????????????

We just got AIP.

Dear Browning911's Hubby:

This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or
Common-Law Partner in Canada Class.

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent
residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that
a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent
resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks
for you and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they
are not applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident
until you and all your family members have met these requirements.............

So Happy!!!
