CIC - Kitch emailed the wife directly an hour after eCAS on her side changed to DM with a date + time. We got a DM letter yesterday...

Usually it's email if they have your email address (which I have a strong suspicion they do....). Phone call if they want to slide you in real fast...

They might send a Raven with it. ;D

I haven't gotten my Landing appointment for Kitchener just yet so I am expecting it by the end of this week by email/mail. Got my letters on the 27th

Tell her the story profiler where they called me on a priviate number on April 21st 2017 about husband passport than our representative said he does not need a new passport and than we did landing interview on April 28 2017 we are done

As stated above, they generally will use email to contact someone. Unless they have an urgent need to reach them, then they will call. And at that, yours was an urgent need, because they wanted to avoid additional delay imposed by having to get another passport. They did you a favour. Vast majority will have emails (because they used email to communicate with CIC).
