so you guys weren't kidding about the 6pm thing, we got an email from CIC right at 6:05. But it's the same AIP letter we got on Friday, weird... They must have meant to send the DM letter since it got updated today right?

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!

It is such a BIG BIG surprise, my husband landed on the interview day on Friday April 21st !!!!!!!!!

We were requested for an interview (not a landing interview for sure...from its wording) and asked to bring a lot of stuffs.
I was freaking out.

But when we arrived, the officer told me that we were just randomly picked for quality assurance!!!!! And he has absolutely NO concerns about our relationship so he WONT transfer our case out for higher efficiency. He will grant my husband PR on the SAME DAY!!!

He still sepnt two hours talking to each of us because again we brought so many stuffs to support. He concluded that we are not only a genuie relationship, but also a HAPPY relationship! So he let us have lunch first, then come back to office at 1:30pm for LANDING!!!!!

So, he landed on the same day! What a surprise for us!!!!
We submitted the app on 1.22.2016, and everything ends in a perfect way on 4.21.2017. Total 15 months.

Good luck to everyone else in this forum. Dont need to worry if the relationship is 100% genuie !!!

6pm == 00:00 o'clock UTC. So, they are using a batch processor to send out those emails...

if anyone has any questions regarding to the Inland interviews, I definitely can help.

I went into his office first as sponsor, we had a long conversation for 1.5 hours on a lot of details. It was pleansant conversation though. Didn't realize it lasts for 1.5 hr until i went out!

When i finished, the officer told me he already made his mind to grant PR today unless my husband will say sth bad.
then my husband went in and chatted for half an hour. I could hear them laughing all the time!!!

There were a lot of questions. so if you need help with it, i will offer some useful ideas about it

It was a QA interview. They are trying to move more cases through the system, and one of the ways to do that is to loosen controls. They are using QA interviews to make sure the integrity of the system is still in tact.

BTW: Thanks for checking myCIC. She definitely has AIP, so it's confusing as all hell for me now.
