Both!! So weird! I checked at 6 pm on Friday and it still said "Application Received" and then 9 am on Monday they both show Decision Made. I didn't think they updated on weekends. Weeeeeeeee. Hopefully it's a good decision, we haven't gotten a letter or anything.

Then it's a positive result. They are working round the clock and on weekends.

I swear, it's like people get penalized for doing things early and upfront. We didn't do our medical until November so it wasn't expired. But we did the police certificate upfront and that got lost. It's better to be unprepared

They already did. It was accepted as passed in both systems on Thursday.

Yeah I check 15 times a day now. We checked myCIC last night before we headed out on the deck for some BBQ under the sun...

I am not surprised there is a rate limiter. There is enough UCE on this forum that it makes sense to limit the number of messages per hour.

To your point, you *must* include dependents on IMM0008 accompanying or not. Yes, including them as non-accompanying does mean he can sponsor later. But my point all along was: He's completed the security screening, and the medical recently. Both are pre-requisites to getting a PR. Additionally, if you submit another application later, that means you have to submit the total fee, including RPRF again. If you did it now, the fees are already paid.

To accomplish this:
- Change IMM00008 to reflect that he is accompanying now.
- Submit to CIC along with an approval from his ex (yes, it might require diplomacy. you can suggest it's only to give the boy options for when he finishes school -- and to avoid the application process later, as a starter).
- Have your rep call them to notify of the change.

This will delay your landing date while they complete a file for him. Which might take a few days/week.

He gets a CoPR, comes to Toronto for a quick visit -- activates his CoPR on entry. Goes home to resume school.

Then he has his PR Card, and you are officially done with CIC...

That's all I was saying.

ECAS say decision made under Sponsorship Application Status. My ecas say Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Has anyone done a affidavit of residence before? For immigration or other things? My MP assistant said it can strength the claims.

something changed on our status that wasn't like that before, it now says "You have passed your medical" ..... still no SA or anything else anywhere, but that was a new development in the last couple days so thought I would mention

from day one his son app had always be activated but they work in pa first than the kids is next so he has ucI and processing everything sorry for confusing you

You didn't confuse me. I was just telling you that you can save time and money on the subsequent application. If money and time are no object, do it up. If it was mine, I would be UPDATING the IMM0008 submitted, and SWITCHING the son from NOT-ACCOMPANYING to ACCOMPANYING so he can get a COPR now, and they won't have to re-process him (and do security and medical over).

But that's if it was mine. You're welcome to attack it however you wish. In the timeline you presented (boy wants to come when 17), the medical and security will be expired.
