So I came across an article I thought I would share. It talks about a high error rate of mailings from CIC (CPC-V specifically). Might explain the executioners military record request...

@Profiler: Got a question again, my wife's (the sponsor) passport is expiring in May. Looks like SA will come sometimes in June, therefore do you recommend an expedited renewal? Is it mandatory for the sponsor to have a valid passport all through processing?

I was wondering if they paid pension for years of service and wanted to pass it on!!! Lol.
It makes you wonder, what are the working conditions that gives rise to these errors among other considerations.
But I try to take things easy, because am not the only one facing some of these concerns and additional unnecessary co$$$$$t$.

I 10000000000% disagree here. Your rep is why you didn't have DM in Jan/Feb. And you can sort all the problems out yourself reasonably easy.

You just imagine being told " subsection 16(1) of IRCC act States "you must answer truthfully . . . bla bla bla"
We have records the suggest contrary to what you have submitted . . . bla bla bla" you were in XYZ place doing ABC
Your first reaction is "what the hell?" Is there how many person with my personal profile? How deep is this check?

this her email to.me on Friday
Today I received this and also an officer phoned to tell me mr. carol did not need new passport. Do not worry go to interview he will be receiving his permanent residence that day. No interview it is only to receive the confirmation and all he has to do is answer the questions of does he have child overseas did he mention child and does he have criminal record. So we already informed them of everything. This is done at the window and afterwards you will be told to go to apply for the SIN next door at Service Canada. congratulations.

Both!! So weird! I checked at 6 pm on Friday and it still said "Application Received" and then 9 am on Monday they both show Decision Made. I didn't think they updated on weekends. Weeeeeeeee. Hopefully it's a good decision, we haven't gotten a letter or anything.
