Honestly speaking, your MP will probably get more useful information for you. I hope they can do this quickly also...from all accounts the agents are hardly helpful.

I +1'd your original suggestion. Use the MP hammer. Ours let us sign the form and send via email... Within 2 hours I had answers...

I wonder how often people go to MPs if that's the case? If they can get better information faster then why is this the first I've heard of it?

90% of the public work done at MPs offices is reportedly relating to CIC...

Tell them you can't ever seem to reach anyone. They may offer to do the checking on your case for you....the sponsor should do the initial meet, then it's free game for the applicant...

Well, think of them as "breaking the glass"/ " hitting the panic button" for Category 4 CIC issues (totally made up that grade system)

it's probably the most effective way but is only be used as a last resort when you are past timelines etc....
