When did you submit??

Below info from CIC web(not MyCIC on MyCIC there is no any updates):
We received your application to sponsor on August 4, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 24, 2016.
We started processing your application on August 23, 2016.
I have received OWP in the mail box on Nov 14 2016
Got refund of 100$ that we paid(paid together with other fees in july for future overstay) on Nov 25 (email) and Nov 29(bank).
Received email on April 10 about Police Clearance Letter, I sent them copy of my old certificate and a note that I have submitted all original documents together.

LOL. I am sure you passed they would have sent you something if you did not. I did my medical around that time too. Have you seen an update in your MyCIC? Call and/or send a CSE to enquire if you passed.

I tried calling CIC and didn't reach anyone and thought just to wait, if something bad they will let me know.
How do I send enquire to CSE?

You're still within normal time yet.. if you didn't pass, the doctor is obligated to try to cure any problems. And CIC will ask for a specialists opinion... so you're fine. .

Received date. We had the flurry of activity at 12.5 mos... Adding the month for the medical (as they do give 30 days to complete it) brings us to 13.5...

we send application on December 14,2015 and they started working on it on January 15,2016 was a month for us to wait for processing

i sent my Medicals since March 25th, got Aip April 6th , got another Aip April 17 and my cic still shows Eligibility and Medicals under reviews. I dunno why my Medicals isn't showing passed. I called the clinic for Medicals and they said it was sent electronically since March 29th. Am so unhappy. Pls advice what should I do now

lmao... she's already taken the dog for a walk. She's ready to relax for the night. She even had the slow-cooker cooking me a roast for dinner this morning.... literally some TV then bed..

So, I checked myCIC for her, and it says they are reviewing now. Essentially:
Status: Open
Eligibility: Under Review
Medical: Under Review
Interview: Not Required
Final Decision: "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message if something blows up"...

May be slightly paraphrased...

Hello everyone.

Profiler, if you dont mind I have a question for you. We received the request for the police certificate last week like everyone else. We didn't submit it with the application so its a good time for us to do it. My question is: Mexico takes 3 to 5 months to get it done (the Canadian Embassy coordinates with the Mexican police). Does that time get added on to the 13.5 months or is it done in parallel? We applied in November 2016.

I wouldn't read too much into it. It can depend on the office where you will be landing too.... some offices, like Montreal and Etobicoke are extremely far behind and inundated with other cases (Refugees, etc) that they are looking at 7-8 wks for them to contact you.. myCIC will probably read as stuff is open or under review until they send you a decision and you land...

My wife's myCIC says the above, and eCAS says "Application Received" -- and we have SA, AIP, two medicals were done, AND they've taken the RPRF (which they only do when they are ready to issue a visa).... So, you're in good company .
