You know, she didn't even catch me when I was doing that... replacing v's with w's.

It's killing me... it's like that one Christmas, I knew my sister and I were getting an NES -- But I had to wait like 3 months in order to get it -- it was supposed to be Santa (Santos?) who delivered it. So, you can't tip them off that you already know..... I will never ever forget that 3 months of my life.... if there was a hell on earth for me -- that was it. Like being water-boarded (I bet).

I did my medical in July and I have no idea if I passed it or not and I've never received any DM. ( I am sure I passed it if i would've been poison for the society someone would've contacted me already ))

Hi browning , just curious ! did you went outside canada while waiting for PR ? did you face any problem at the border ?

No my husband has not travelled since he submitted his application. But all the people who have travelled during that time have re-entered with no issues but this was BT (before Trump). Make sure you carry information wrt your application and your work permit.
Hope you are not travelling to the US. (Just kidding)

Currently at 5 months 1 week and 2 days waiting for OWP. Others who have submitted the same application as me after mine was received got their OWP weeks ago. Been trying to call multiple times a day for a little over 2 weeks now for any kind of update or information on our application and can't even seem to get on hold.

Like everyone said call CIC until you get them and charge them for your lost wages. :-X

Alright -- who's got news on this, the second sugariest of sugar Tuesday's....

I suspect Carol got good news she must be celebrating........... Also Leglog is MIA too.

So for an update:

I got in contact with the assistant to my local MP. They said I need to go to their office directly for them to inquire directly on my behalf, which I'll have to do later tonight (if I can make it after work) or tomorrow.
They also said they are aware work permits in general are taking a while longer than usual to process.

In the mean time, I still have been calling the call center a couple times an hour just in case with still no luck, over 20 calls today so far haha. Always busy... I'll never understand how they are too busy to even put me on hold. I'd sit on hold for 6+ hours if I had to! Just put me in line!

Arian, did you receive SA yet? Once the medical is passed then you will probably receive AIP/DM. They are no working on 21st March 2016 applications so hopefully we will get SA/AIP/DM soon.

LOL. I am sure you passed they would have sent you something if you did not. I did my medical around that time too. Have you seen an update in your MyCIC? Call and/or send a CSE to enquire if you passed.

It's like having to call into one of those Radio contests to win some kind of gift of the other.
Honestly speaking, your MP will probably get more useful information for you. I hope they can do this quickly also...from all accounts the agents are hardly helpful.
