HI PROFILER.I THINK YOU ARE MISTAKEN TO SAY THAT ANYONE THAT GOT AIP WAS NOT ON SIR PROGRAM.MY ATIP WAS EMAILED YESTERDAY.

ELIGIBILITY....AIP...PASSED
CRIMINALITY...IN PROGRESS

Did they send you AIP though... you'd still pass it in SIR. They just used no AIP as a bar...

Government notices stated no AIP and apps in before June 13..

@profiler: remember I was told by a call centre agent that my OWP app doesn't matter cause I don't qualify for the program and 3 days later it was approved?! I rest my case.

I am planning to apply for the OWP (June 1 Inland app AOR2 June 29), I was looking for an unrestricted OWP, should I just apply and let them ask for the medicals or should I proceed to voluntary medicals first and then apply?

Up to you. If you need it to be unrestricted, then just do the medical (if you're not from an exempted country). They will only ask you to do 1 medical though...

You know, I picked Ms Profiler up from work today. Told her about calling the call centre. Immediately she rolled her eyes and told me not to do this any more. She told me I know the answer or can find it, so just don't call them any more. They obviously don't know what they're talking about.

She called once to try to ask for her UCI. Remember she has a ME TRV. The woman told her I am the applicant, and I submitted the application on her behalf. She is not the applicant, therefore she won't have a UCI.

Another time (I was reminded on my ride home) was +40 out and we were trying to get OHIP. We came home to call cic who sent an email to us and directed us to take that to Service Ontario. Heh. We didn't have AIP...

I only called to get directions for surnam... nvm.

You know that moment when you die a little inside after seeing people who applied after you getting OWP.....I just had that moment. Our July 20th application by us and I see someone from July 22nd got their OWP. :-\ :-X

Running through my head....maybe they didn't see the yellow envelope marked open work permit .....*down the rabbit hole we go with our thoughts*

No envelopes at all for us. Just 3 stacks of paper with heavy duty black paperclips and an envelope of original photos and passport pics..

Ours was here June 27.

Important to remember, CIC isn't a FIFO. Don't worry, it's coming soon You should apply for work already! .

This confirms that your Application to Sponsor a Member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner In
Canada Class was received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 11/08/2016
on behalf of the following family member(s): my name

This is obviously a CSQ request. Is it also considered as AOR2?

Could you please enlighten me.

Sounds like AOR, but the CSQ bit in a little confusing. Ours was almost identical, just no CSQ (ON residents).
