Unless your case has been directed for interview, you would be part of one of the first document request waves from the SIR. So, people from that wave are announcing landing interviews for the last two weeks.

I cannot say for certain if your case will be one of those or not, as I only know about 4 sentences about your case, and have no notes infront of me..

No document request as i applied with all paper work need at the time.

i called cic in August and they said there is no update on my file. I asked is my application straight forward and part of reduction system and ha said yes. I don't know it's true or not?

According to the spreadsheet, Arkay who filed January 11, 2016, got AIP Aug 4 and landed last week.
Brgrcy who filed January 7, 2016, got AIP July 13, and DM Sept 21 (no update since -- probably still hung over from the landing party)...

So, if I was to guess, given the info I have in front of me, and knowledge of SIR, I would say you are probably looking at a landing party before new years... there is a high likelihood it will be in Nov though...

The Call Centre agents will tell you all kinds of ridiculous crap... sometimes you have to call a few times.

As to whether or not your case is straightforward -- they have nooo idea. They didn't review it at all -- in fact, they have no idea who you are, or what you requested...

As for SIR, all inland apps on/before June 13 were/are considered for SIR..
