Hi everyone I send my application for my husband on december18,2015 and got file number and in processing since Jan 26,2016 and they request for pcc from back home in June. After that there is no update on my application. Can anyone plz help me how long they will take to finalize my application and they did not even ask for medical yet? Shud he book upfront medical or wait for request? I don't know if I am part of reduction in inventory system or not ? Can anyone help me thanks.

Too late for upfront medical..that's when you supply it before then start processing.

You can choose to do your medical or wait. If you wait until they ask, you know they'll be ready for it.

No one can tell you how long, or if you're in the reduction exercise. Only your GCMS notes might hint at it.

When was your PCC request in june? Any other documents?

@K87 it is best to do medical straight away we did our medical last november 2015 and we did our fingerprints in November 2015 better to do everything ahead less waiting lIke profiler say it's a waiting game

@ muusehisman I know. It's so totally unfair. Imagine how the 55% of 2015 applicants feel that haven't finished the process yet either. CIC just see numbers, not the actual people's lives that they are affecting. But what can you do.....

I wish they had seen pples lives and how suspended we are not able to move on from this kinda life.All the best to all that are still waiting.

I never stress.... except when my wife drops a little statement on me like, "You need to go back to school (now that it's free to attend the Uni I work for) to get your PhD"..

There is now a friendly agreement in the profiler household -- I will get a PhD if she completes Canadian Citizenship.... She agreed pretty fast and indicated "I am already started"..


That's real stress....

Unless your case has been directed for interview, you would be part of one of the first document request waves from the SIR. So, people from that wave are announcing landing interviews for the last two weeks.

I cannot say for certain if your case will be one of those or not, as I only know about 4 sentences about your case, and have no notes infront of me..

Pro-Tip: ECAS only updates once a day. I assume that's around lunch, so check it around dinner time.
