Sponsorship through Bogota 2015-2016

On the AOR1 letter, you'll receive a File Number and UCI, with either of these two and your info you will be able to log in to ECAS. Your wife will receive another File Number and UCI with AOR2, with these two she can also log in to ecas but with her information.

As JJ stated, with AOR1 you receive SPR UCI # and AOR2 APP UCI #; however, it is one File Number and it will be given with AOR1.

Could it mean that they are just doing security?... cause the notes say eligibility, criminality and medicals passed... but security still in progress i hope they dont take long :'(

Hey Beeo08,
Based on my experience with my application timeline, you should expect AOR1 in about a month, this one will say that they received your application. Then SA like a week later, will say if your eligible to sponsor your spouse. Both emails will be sent to you, so check you junk mail once in a while.
AOR2 will arrive to your spouse's email maybe a month later, this one will tell you that your application arrived to Bogota VO.
So as MarCar said, welcome to our group and enjoy the waiting ride. ;D

I'm actually being calm because my husband is here, once he leaves I'll get anxious again.

this is a "how to order gcms notes for dummies" I did for my husband before I ended up ordering them, you have to download this consent letter and you fill it out with your information, scan it and send it to your wife so she uploads it whenever they ask for it http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5744e.pdf

BTW guys... we were asked for the Military Service for my husband again... However, this time the email was sent to both of us! :-\

[/ congrats Catherine. I believe you have to mail out the passport to bogota. Don't think you can mail it out anywhere in Canada but I could be wrong

I really hope you guys do, I feel hopeless... Mine says nov does that mean my case might be done then or just eligibility?? I don't understand why the officer said I was close to being done when I really wasn't... My heart just sinks more each time

Hi Liiaa... My husband's date is Sept 17/2016, which is a year from when they sent the file to Bogota... And that date has been the same for all the three notes that we have gotten... We were too disheartened by the date... I wish I knew what that date really means :-\
