Since I did not do the process through Omnitempus or G4S Colombia. I did not pay to a bank. I did mine through the police office which I paid there. I did send the proof of payment from the police office with the documents.Which is the same as going through those other companies. so I think I might have to redo it. When either Omnitempus or G4S does the background check do they translate it to
English? I read that its required.
Just redo it they will translate it and they will send it to immigracion
Humblee I hope you can find a solve this, I can only imagine how stressed you might be, but try to stay positive.humblee said:Hi guys immigration asked me to send my libreta militar the problem is that I don't have it and it takes approximately 5 months to get it and I have to pay a penalty I am so stress
I am not familiar with Colombia and the process from there but I hope just with showing them you have applied for it should be ok.humblee said:Hi guys immigration asked me to send my libreta militar the problem is that I don't have it and it takes approximately 5 months to get it and I have to pay a penalty I am so stress

I don't think you should be worried.
I'm waiting for my notes and/or any email from the VO requesting documents.
Hope you're doing fine. ;D
Hi Beeo08! Welcome to the group!Beeo08 said:Hey guys, we just sent the application last week and it was received today in Mississauga according to the DHL website. What are the next steps that we should expect? Do they send an email saying they've received it? Then after this they do the sponsor approval which takes about 40 days on average?
We didn't send the police checks as those weren't requested. I imagine these are requested a lot further along in the process.

On the AOR1 letter, you'll receive a File Number and UCI, with either of these two and your info you will be able to log in to ECAS. Your wife will receive another File Number and UCI with AOR2, with these two she can also log in to ecas but with her information.Beeo08 said:Question: When does one receive the file number? I imagine this happens after sponsor approval and when they start working on the applicant's application?
