Hi Liiaa... My husband's date is Sept 17/2016, which is a year from when they sent the file to Bogota... And that date has been the same for all the three notes that we have gotten... We were too disheartened by the date... I wish I knew what that date really means :-\

I hope they can finish our files sooner than that. Hang in there at least you'll just have 2 months but I'm hoping I can be back for Christmas at least :(

PPR :D ;D :D ;D

At the moment I am in Canada. Someone know how to proceed? Can I send passports to Canada office?

So happy! Bogota VO was very fast with our process!

Thanks for help!

Congratulations Catherine27!

Catherine congrats once again! I'm very happy you finally got PPR!

Hopefully Liiaa and MarCar receive news soon.

My husband and I ordered our notes on June 3rd, hopefully we get them by Monday, I'm actually getting worried because we haven't received nothing since AOR2. ☹️

Thanks!!! I have been trying to communicate with immigration but they don't answer to me. I don't know if it is possible to send the passport by DHL and get it back. Do you know something about that??

Here some people say that it is possible but other say I have to receive in person.

I am getting crazy >:(

Congratulation Catherine! I think you should research for Flagpole... It seems that flagpole is when PA is in Canada and got to USA border and tell the officer you are going back to Canada for Flagpole... I just do not know what documents you might need :( I hope it helps! :)

Yesterday we were at the border and they said they just stamp the entry as PR but they dont stamp the visa in the passport.

Finally, I am going to send passports to a familiar in Bogota and after she send them back to me.

I send in that way the check police from Australia.

I hope it works.

thanks ;)

I heard due dates might change once the case goes a bit further. You guys know anything about it? Mine said november 2016 so I am hoping in the new notes I might see an earlier date :-[

yours might be due way before then so hang in there.

Hi Liiaa

Regarding that due date, I talked to a friend of mine who is an immigration lawyer and told me that date is the date that when you check the CIC website for the VO process time at the moment when the application is received. when I applied back in July 2015, the process was 14 months, 2 months for sponsor and 12 months for applicant. However it does not mean that it will take that long (it could be less or it could be more). Also told me that after that date if you contact CIC, they have to give you precise info because is past due... I hope this makes sense...

Can I just say that waiting is the worst. Starting to go crazy over here! I thought that after RPRF it wouldn't be long before PPR but it's been 2 months already. Gah!

Hello Skii!

Aré you also from Bogota?

What os RPRF? Passport request? So, have you send your passport 2 months ago?

??

I just send my passport about 1 week. Share experience please!

Thanks... By the way.. All this process is just a waiting game

Waiting... Waiting... And waiting...

Hey Catherine27

Yup my husband has an application in Bogota now (applied Aug 2015). I'm sorry I haven't updated my profile (it's on my to-do list lol).

We paid RPRF at the end of May and have been waiting for a PPR ever since!

Edit: I realized I didn't answer your question! RPRF is the Right of Permanent Residency Fee I think. So no we have not submitted my husband's passport yet.
