Hi Keepfaith09 messaged you privately

If you are not sure on your application i advice you to have a lawyer or consultant to make it sure your confident in your application.. but in my case i didn’t have one i tried to ask help immigration consultants i saw in facebook they refused to handle my case i have no choice to do it. I read and read search and search and read again in the IRCC website i studied every single words i analyzed evey questions in the checklist.. you can do it just be patient and give your best
Hi Amy! My situation is quite similar to yours. To say I'm anxious is a understatement is there anyway I could contact you directly? Email perhaps?
Tnx,
Cara

Yes they went on our house door because or maybe they saw my address in my application.. i didn’t work i just stayed at home because my common law work away just did everyday household chores.

Hello!

Not quite sure if i am in the right thread.

My husband came to Canada in June 2019. He is currently out status. We got married in February. I want to finalize the sponsorship but he is out of status. Can anyone enlighten me on what to do, please.

I would.appreciate any feedback.

Hi,
You can sponsor your husband if he is out of status. He cannot apply for the open work permit though. How long has he being out of status?

16 months to be exact. Should he apply for restoration prior to making any step on my end?

Restoration of status can only be submitted within 90 days of expired visa. Its best you go ahead and submit spousal application asap!

My personal experience, I contact a lawyer and they talk to CBSA to make an appointment, we sent the sponsorship application 2 days before the appointment, at the appointment they give me the option to apply for the Pre-removal risk assessment to remove my warrant and to this date I haven’t heard anything from CBSA, I got Sponsor approval and waiting for a final decision.

His visa is still valid, there's no stamp on his passport upon entry. From what I know, he is legally allowed to stay for 6 months. He did not apply for any renewal after.

Moving forward, should I start with the spousal sponsorship inland and apply for his permanent residency as well?
