Will they also contact my former employers or fine them? Should I give them heads up about my application?
While your former employers should most certainly face penalties for hiring an illegal worker, it won't happen because of your app.
Hi amy! I’m an example of out of status when i file my common law sponsorship. I applied last january 2019 and i got my permanent resident Oct2019. I’m out of status 4 years then i submitted my application you will see my timeline in january2019 inland applicant group here. Yes CBSA visited me right after a month i submitted my application i faced it because i have to my future is in that application and i prepared myself to go home or to stay because i pushed myself to do it because i want to live like a normal person here with medical health fulltime job and not afraid to anyone who will caught me you have to prove your relationship is genuine.. Good luck and 10times review your application. I have no lawyer or consultant i did’t it by myself through the help of people here and in the facebook group.. just be honest and have faith!
If you are not sure on your application i advice you to have a lawyer or consultant to make it sure your confident in your application.. but in my case i didn’t have one i tried to ask help immigration consultants i saw in facebook they refused to handle my case i have no choice to do it. I read and read search and search and read again in the IRCC website i studied every single words i analyzed evey questions in the checklist.. you can do it just be patient and give your best

Thank you so much for sharing your story!! So CBSA went to your house, wow! What did they ask you? What about the illegal work you did? Did they also contact your former employers?
Do you already have a departure order? It would have turned into a deportation order. CBSA usually focuses on you and making sure you check-in. They will determine if you can remain in Canada while your PR is processed.
No, I just received a letter years ago that my extension has not been granted and I have 30 days to leave Canada.
You were not issued a Departure Order for a refused extension.
No one can tell you if CBSA will take action against you or not. No one can say if they will show up at your door or not. No one can say if you will be removed or not. All you can do is apply and see.
Yes they went on our house door because or maybe they saw my address in my application.. i didn’t work i just stayed at home because my common law work away just did everyday household chores.
