Sponsoring Parents in 2015

I just called CIC and they mentioned to me that no additional documents from my side but they are doing internal investigation ...


When you called, which prompts do you select and when agent comes on phone, what did you say? I have been waiting with no updates so I tried calling CIC a few times, but no agent is willing to take my file # and look into it. They just say wait to hear back from us or check e-cas. I also mentioned that I moved recently so I want to ensure no mail was missed but they just referred me to address update link. Can someone pls advise how can I initiate the convo to make them check my file and provide some info.

You can tell them ECAS doesn't work for you and you need to update your address.

Well I attached Death Certificate just as supporting document that my mother is a widow. In previous application for my mother only I applied under the Humanitarian Grounds which was not approved as they didn't found it to be valid enough reason to grant approval under humanitarian grounds

I have not received any communication for sure. Generally they mention all the communication in notes. I don't see any communication mentioned in their notes also.

Does anyone know what does Case pending partner check results mean .. ?

Why did you apply for your mother on humanitarian ground and not on PGP previously? I assume because parents sponsorship was at halt and you tried on Humanitarian as she had no one to take care of her?

Hello Folks,
I received SA approval through mail dated 13th May and sponsorship file transferred to Delhi but after that there is no further communication. I checked online status and its still showing as "Application Recieved"

Looking for your advise, shall i call support centre or request for the GCMS notes? or shall wait for some more time.

You can pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee online by visiting: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en. Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format. Please send the receipt with your application number in the title to the following email CPCO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca. Please note that the RPRF ($490 per adult) is separate from the processing fees ($550 per adult and $150 per child) which were paid at the time of submitting the application.

The above information/documents must be received in our office within 45 days from the date of this letter.

If we do not receive a response within the time allotted to you from the date of this notice, a decision will be made based on the information on your file, which could result in the refusal of your application.

Please reply directly to this email and put your application number in the title.

Please note:

· Any documents submitted which are not in English or French must be accompanied by a notarized translation in either English or French.

· Please send us scanned versions of the requested documents. Please do not submit originals, unless otherwise stated, as documents submitted will not be returned.

The ways are clearly written in both Instructions section of 'Introduction' sheet and header rows of 'Add/New Entry' sheet.


Anyway, I've updated your info with whatever info you have provided. It's still missing your SA and File Transfer date and your LVO info.

As New Delhi office is asking for all documents submitted while applying for the PR, please let me know if you got another set of Option C printouts to be sent to them.

And regarding the financial payment that we made.. do we need to submit another copy of it?

You, your wife, 2 kids and both parents means you are required to meet the financial requirements for 6 people.

I applied for parental sponsorship in Jan 2016, CIC contacted me and asked for more documents.
Do they actually started processing our application? if yes, why they say Sponser Assessment(step 1) takes 48 month?
Has anyone been contacted by them too?
