So anyone can confirm they can see one person or two people in your on-line eCas account (if you are sponsoring both parents of course)
in Ecas you will see the name of only principal applicant and that is normal

If you can answer Question 2 to 6; 7 will automatically populate itself (you cannot write there). If your family only consists of 2 members (no other dependents, current/previous undertakings) and you are only inviting your mom (which means box 3 in IMM0008 is 1); then it should be 3.

It's fine that you are gathering docs now. But do not just send the forms to your mom now. CIC tends to update the forms at the last minute. Here's some history for you:

* The last update on the forms was in November, 2014 for 2015 PGP Applications
* The last update on the forms was in December, 2013 for 2014 PGP Applications

Do they deem the application incomplete if older forms are used?

Yes. This happened to some people back in 2014 when CIC updated few forms at the last minute (probably on Dec 31, 2013). But for 2015, the last update took place in Nov, 2014.

hi Scylla and Rossei. I am lost, pls enlighten me. I wish to apply my mother on Parents Sponsorship and the forms are really confusing. I am the sponsor and my mom is the principal applicant. on ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION, IMM 5406:

ON SECTION A. I believed I should write my mothers name since she is the principal applicant, right?

ON SECTION B. its written ''children regardless of age'' since my mom is the principal applicant meaning she should write all her dependents which is my 3 brothers whose over-age (40+) and not dependent at all because they have work in the Philippines. should my mom still listed them? or she will just put N/A?

ON SECTION C. it say's brothers and sisters. does it mean the siblings of my mom? my uncles and my aunties, right?

Scylla and Rossei. I hope you can help me...I'm getting older :'( :'( :'( . thanks in advance. God bless.

Right.

She should list all 4 (including you). This form is just meant for FAMILY INFO. If you're concerned about Accompanying Dependents; CIC will look into IMM0008 and IMM0008DEP (if applicable) forms. Do not forget to write all names in your native script as well.

ON SECTION C. it say's brothers and sisters. does it mean the siblings of my mom? my uncles and my aunties, right?
Right.

hi Rossei. you really are a Big help...thank you so much for all the information. I am not done filling out the forms and still gathering all the important documents. hopefully immigration don't change the forms before they re-open again. i'll get back to you whenever I have a questions. God bless.

Just wanted to update E-cas-YES.
I coudn't do it.It gave me"view only"-please contact the owner for edit access.
Thank you Rossei.

For people who already applied in 2015, how and when did you send in your application to be counted among the first 5000 applications?

And secondly, when do you guys think the new application form will show up?

And last but not least, Page 2, checklist item#5 for NOA, will CIC accept online printouts of NOA? Both my wife and I filed electronically this year and also signed up for electronic correspondence. So none of us received an actual NOA. Will the online printout be sufficient, or we need to request it from CRA? Please let us know.

Thanks.

Check this spreadsheet out. It should answer your first question well.

It's hard to predict when the new form would be out, just make sure to keep your eyes on CIC website and this forum for any updates from Nov and on.
Form filling takes only a day or few. Don't worry too much about that. (for me it's only 2 hours. my mom is here on super visa so I got her signature right away)
I would suggest you put more time on preparing all required document. It's never too early to do that.
Remember to read the checklist and instructions carefully. You can even download a form from last year and fill it out as a practice.

You can call CRA and have them send you your Option C.

Hope this link helps.

For you to apply in Jan 2016, make sure you have Option C of 2012, 2013, 2014 ready.

Thank you Rossei.

I've updated it.

Did you try New Entry sheet? Any other sheet is locked only to view. If the New Entry sheet is making issues to change/update info; let me know.

Please, follow what 741953 said earlier.

I just want to emphasize on the fact that according to CRA, online printouts are not "official" documents. Therefore, CIC only accepts NOA or Option C printouts from CRA as proof of income. When I ordered my Option C last year over phone; the lady attendant explained it quite well to me.

hi Rossei,
For some reason I can't edit the New entry page any more.

You're good then. I wanted to use the online printouts as well. Before doing so, I called CRA and they said "Online printouts are not official document issued by CRA and so are not accepted by CIC". Well, it doesn't mean CIC will go by the book all the time.

Anyway, next time, CIC asks for your NOA's; choose between NOA or Option C. Option C printouts are free and only takes 2 weeks to receive.
