Was there a sheet maintained last year? Wouldn't mind seeing when cert. cheque payments were processed

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsFbx4lTCXEXdEZZSDBoei0zZEkxaG9CTnRMZElNM3c&usp=sharing#gid=0

It doesn't show when the cheque payments are processed...

No more cc charges reported today?..
Ours just got updated today, showing Jan 21 posting date and Jan 20 charge date. We did 10:30am service, but it was told 8:45 delivery. I guess a lie, but it doesn't matter anymore.

Rossei, I am a different user to Anastasia P - the line you had for me on the sheet is correct. As an update, I can finally see the charge on my credit card transaction history - it was taken out on Jan 19th and i was part of the Jan 2nd 8.45am Purolator batch (scheduled delivery 9am).

I'm still hoping for all the Jan 5th people to get charged.

Hurray ! Congrats Anastasia!

only first time when i called ...they said its 45xx...now they decline to even check.

they must have received internal memos to stop giving out any details related to pgp after that initial outburst of calls into the call centre.

Rossei,

I got charged on my CC yesterday. I am on Line 81. Please update my information. Thanks.

P.S. Great job with the worksheet.

Here is an interesting article about a couple who were ordered to leave Canada due to burden on Canada Health Care.

The news title is misleading. Their visitor visa were rejected by the health condition.
Anyway, the health condition is one of selection criteria for visitor, permanent or other visa grant.

Yes the headline is misleading. However I thought medical tests were not needed for visitor visa. So not sure why the couple were denied unless CiC used the "parent sponsorship" as pretext for "intending to move" to Canada thus deny visitor visa renewal.

Just curious though. When in the parent sponsorship do CiC request medical test. Just before using COPR? To make sure they are medically healthy just before issuing COPR?

The medical test is the second last step in the process before passport request to issue landing visa. The COPR is issued at point of entry during PR landing.

Yeah, once sponsorship is approved, CIC asks the parents to submit medical report.
Any applicants with serious disease (like kidney/lung disease) will be denied COPR.

I understand the medical test required as part of parent sponsorship. But the article says they were denied visitor visa for medical reason. So CiC couldn't have known about it unless they recently submitted medical test for the parents sponsorship. If this is the case, it sounded like the PGP sponsorship was close to the final stage of completion but they failed on medical grounds for PGP. Shouldn't they be getting a negative DM on their PGP program before their visitor renewal.

The article says they settled in 2012 and they are still under visitor visa. I have doubts on the editor.
How the "settlement" is defined? I think their PGP application is still in progress.
