I wouldn't worry about it. When we came back a few years ago I was told by a few insurance companies that because I had been out of the country for 12 years I would be charged as a first time driver, even though I'd driven in Ontario for 24 years before going to Korea. I called around a little and had no trouble finding companies who had no problem with the fact that I had been away for that length of time and charged me the normal rate for someone with my driving experience. Same for my wife who had no driving record here. I wouldn't be too concerned.jmomcc said:I thought for insurance maybe. I also thought you might need it when switching your license over.
