There's no Korean consulate in Calgary. The closest one is in Vancouver.

When were you guys able to access your status online? I still can't check my application status online. It says there is no record even though I have a UCI number. Does it take a while for them to update?

Did you try using the file number instead of the UCI number? That worked for me.

Tried all the information I have, Receipt number, UCI, file number but none work so I guess I will have to wait.

A question about the receipt. Do I use my current address in Korea or the Canadian address on the credit card I used for online payment?

Decided to take the leap and head back to Canada without knowing when the PR is going to be done.

That's right. As I've posted here many times before ... we sent our application, sponsorship was approved, Seoul IO asked for an RCMP criminal record check for me (which took 5 months and which I speculate was so that they wouldn't have to process our application there before closing) and our application is just now having the background checks reviewed which according to my MP's office could take a few months to a year.

Trust me, crazy does not begin to describe the feeling I have but my hands are tied. There's almost nothing I can do.
