14 months - not quickly ;)

14 is the maximum for a complete application. So, 10,11,12,13 months all possible I guess. I don't really mind the wait to be honest. Getting the application done and sent off is the main thing.

What? 14 months for an application that has no problems? I can understand 14 months if an interview is required or you forgot to sign page or are missing some documents.

They must be swamped with applications in Manila:

Caroline Islands, Guam, Japan, Johnston Atoll, Korea (Republic of), Kosrae, Marianas, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Midway Island, Northern Mariana Island, Pacific Islands, Palau (Belau), Philippines, Ponape, Truk Island, Wake Island, Yap Island

There is always a chance you may have forgot a document. I dont think you will need an interview since you have a long term relationship (and as long as you provided suff. proof of relationship).

I should be back with an update in about 12 months :o

How would it work for the interview? Would it still be in Seoul? I am just curious how they would manage it considering they shut down the VO there.

14 months is not the maximum. 14 months is the time it takes for 80% of applications to be completed. That means there are 20% that take longer than 14 months.

Checked FedEx today, says that it hasn't been delivered yet, but it is in the right city.

Delivered! The wait begins!

Guys, how soon after CIC received your application were you able to check your online status? I have tried a couple of times now but I get nothing.
