Well I just heard from my consultant and he was very happy the way I put everything together for the appeal. Thank you all so much in giving me your suggestions. They all helped so very much. Hope everyone is doing great. Miss talking to you all, just have been busy with the kids, work and the appeal.

Salamu alaikum wanna say mabrouk kk for everybody who has landed in Canada finally sorry for bad English just got married to a wonderful Canadian man on 18 march we did apply for immigration April 10 but when we go to Canada website every day they change the process time first was 28 days know it's 44 days we did attach everything all pictures all they ask for wanna know the 8 month it / with the 44 days or when they approved then I can start accounting until 8 month thank u so much

How are things?

***Icraq, I see your question, the 8 months wait (or whatever it is now) starts AFTER Rabat receives your spouse's file so it's like 9 months total roughly from the date you sent in the application in the first place, sorry wish I had better news.

This is the hardest part to wait with no indication of what's happening at all!!!!

Ramadan Mubarak thank u habeb so much they email us they said application proved and already sent to rabat office wanna know if they contact us they said they rcievd the files in rabat or not because we didnmt heard anything it's being one month thank u

Ramadan Mubarak Ichraq...they should send you an "Acknowledgement of Receipt" in by email soon, then your spouse will receive the same thing in their email but theirs will state the date his file was received at the embassy in Rabat. Once that happens you will just have to wait until they call your spouse for interview, there is no communication after that and it can take up to 8 months after Rabat receives the file. It's the hardest part of the whole process as you have no idea when anything will happen and you just have to wait an wait. I have been told that it takes a minimum of 4 months for them to do the criminal history check and it seems this is correct so don't expect before at least 4 months. Keep your head up!!

Still waiting on the appeal. I just wish it would get here soon. How long does it usually take? It seams like forever.

hope you will hear something soon. is your appeal office Vancouver? or do they have one in Edmonton? Hopefully it will be an ADR and it will be processed quickly, already has been a long time since Nov 2013 waiting. see if your consultant can call them and find out where the file is at. I've read you can also contact them directly.

hamdulillah things are ok, a little stressful at times but its all good.
